What will you be doing?

The Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Fire Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing but not limited to the installation, maintenance, servicing and upgrading ofFire Alarm and AOV systems.
The role will involve working across a variety of domestic and commercial properties, primarily within the social housing and local authority sectors. All work must be completed to a consistently high standard, using technical expertise in line with industry regulations and company expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret fire alarm and AOV drawings and specifications where required
Install, service, maintain, repair, and adapt fire alarm and AOV systems
Carry out full system installations and upgrades
Complete scheduled servicing and inspections
Demonstrate competence with a wide range of fire alarm control panels and equipment, including closed protocol systems
Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 and BS 5839 regulations
Complete all job reports and certification accurately using the Oneserve application
Work safely and in accordance with current Health & Safety legislation and fire safety standards
Attend and complete all company-provided training
Participate in performance reviews, improvement programmes, and appraisals
Liaise effectively with office staff and supervisors to resolve queries
Adhere to company KPIs and operational standards
Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by management
