About the role:

The Cyber Security Incident Response Specialist would be member of CSIRT, part of Counter Threat & Engineering (CT&E) function, responding to cyber threats and security incidents globally. The team operates out of bp hubs in Houston (U.S), Sunbury (U.K), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Pune (India), and Singapore. The Security Operations Center (SOC) raises incidents to CSIRT, which responds to the incidents by conducting investigations using digital forensics, advanced techniques, and collaborating across bp. Team members must understand bp’s business segments and address a broad range of security-related questions. You will help ensure enterprise security, enabling safe and secure business operations as part of this global team.

The CSIRT is part of our wider CT&E team that is responsible for protecting bp against cyber threats. This role also requires you to be on an on-call Rota few times throughout the year.

What you will deliver:
  • Support the bp SOC as an escalation point for security events and incidents.
  • Conduct digital forensic investigations on high-priority incidents to include functions such as host (disk and memory) forensics, network forensics and log analysis.
  • Work across Digital Security and the bp business functions to partner on incidents and to ensure all appropriate actions are being taken and communicated.
  • Conduct advanced threat hunting by using threat intelligence and the MITRE ATT&CK framework to proactively identify suspicious activity in the environment.
  • Ensure data accuracy within the case management system and others.
  • When not actively responding to incidents, other key responsibilities within the role include development of documentation and processes such as playbooks, refining your skills through training opportunities and identifying and enhancing the capabilities of the team by developing opportunities for automation (i.e., custom scripts and tool integration).

Technical & Operational

  • Oversee and deliver all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)
  • Mechanical systems maintenance including:
  • Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
  • TMVs
  • Tap temperature checks
  • POU water heaters
  • Emergency lighting (EML) testing and lighting fault diagnostics
  • First response to reactive works with hands-on fault finding and repair
  • Ensure statutory compliance across all systems
  • Support and interface with BMS and lighting control systems
  • Supervision & Leadership

Direct supervision of:

  • 1 x Apprentice (including structured development and training plan)
  • 1 x Fabric Technician
  • Allocate daily workloads and monitor performance
  • Maintain high engineering and housekeeping standards
  • Act as site technical lead and escalation point
  • Contractor & Compliance Management
  • Issue Authorities to Work (ATW)
  • Manage contractor attendance and compliance
  • Oversee specialist subcontractors
  • Ensure all works are completed safely and to standard

About You

  • Mechanically biased with strong HVAC/building services background
  • Proven experience in a Lead Engineer or Supervisory capacity
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lighting systems and controls
  • Experience working in corporate/commercial office environments
  • Confident managing contractors and junior engineers

Head of Engineering (Food & Beverage) About The Ned The Ned and Neds Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time. The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Neds Club, a private members space, gym and rooftop, alongside a public spa, ten restaurants and bars, and 250 hotel bedrooms. Reporting into the Engineering and Facilities Director, you will: Lead all engineering activity across kitchens and food and beverage outlets, ensuring equipment reliability and minimal operational disruption Take ownership of preventative, reactive and emergency maintenance for all F&B assets, plant and systems Prioritise, plan and supervise engineering workloads and third-party contractors to ensure fast, effective resolution of issues Ensure statutory compliance across all kitchen operations, including gas safety certification, ductwork cleaning and asset testing Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for all kitchen and F&B equipment, including condition, downtime and maintenance history Support operational teams by responding quickly to issues during service, understanding the pressures of live F&B environments Develop the engineering teams technical capability through training and hands-on leadership, increasing in-house repair capacity Work in close partnership with culinary and F&B leadership to anticipate issues and support future operational needs Plan a detailed ‘replacement’ schedule for equipment in each Kitchen with the Executive Chef, F&B Director and Director of Engineering and Facilities, obtain costs for replacing equipment in the Capex budget What The Ned can give you: Salary of between £60,000 and £65,000, dependant on experience, plus service charge Private medical insurance from Vitality Every house membership at Soho House Complimentary meals in our friendly team restaurant, Neddys, including monthly payday breakfast Learning and development programmes to support your long-term career progression Exclusive rates at The Ned for staying and dining, for you, your family and friends Wellbeing and health benefits including Reward Gateway and Stream, with access to gym, shopping and cinema discounts Your birthday off after one year of service, plus additional holiday with length of service Paid volunteer day Regular social events, including the annual pool party Employee assistance programme with 24/7 advice and support Reward and recognition initiatives What you can bring to the role: Youll bring strong experience managing engineering within a high-volume food and beverage environment, where downtime is not an option and service never stops. Youll be technically confident, highly organised and calm under pressure, with the ability to make fast, practical decisions that keep kitchens running safely and efficiently. You understand the commercial and operational realities of F&B and know how to work collaboratively with chefs and operators to support service delivery. Youll also be a capable people leader, developing your teams skills and confidence while setting clear expectations around standards, safety and accountability. This position requires a flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends when necessary and accommodating the needs of the business.
