We are seeking a high-calibre Systems Engineer to lead the technical delivery of complex programmes within the UK Defence and National Security sector. This role is pivotal in shaping the next generation of mission-critical capabilities, integrating cutting-edge Cloud-native architectures, Data-driven decision-making tools, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) into robust, safety-critical environments.

The successful candidate will act as a technical bridge between strategic vision and engineering execution, ensuring that rapidly evolving digital technologies are deployed with the rigour and security required for national protection. You will be responsible for the end-to-end systems lifecycle, from influencing customer requirements at the C-suite level to providing technical overwatch during complex system integration.

Requirements

• Executive Gravitas: The ability to gravitate seamlessly between C-suite executives, senior military leads, and technical SMEs specialising in Data Science and Cloud Engineering.

About the Role

You will be expected to lead Yondr’s end-to-end Design Management function in EMEA, ensuring consistency in the service provided by vendors and consultants, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Alongside this is a requirement to assist the Product Development Team revise its global standards while driving, in region, design management processes and technical governance to safeguard project delivery, inclusive of identifying and mitigating site technical development risks.

At the front-end, you will support the Development Team in the strategic expansion of Yondr’s hyperscale data center portfolio from site selection through technical due diligence. Thereafter, you will lead the formation of design teams to support respective projects through the remaining design phases inclusive of project turnover.

Another element to focus on would be to assist with pre-qualification, bid and tender documents returns and participate in project meetings ensuring the delivery to client is met with quality while adhering to Yondr’s systems, procedures and culture. Managing the review of the quality and completeness of the design to ascertain its ability to be built in accordance with both the cost plan, schedule and site Health & Safety requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project design review process across the EMEA region and coordinate the process with internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate and manage team deliverables as well as overall performances of contractor, vendor and supplier for each individual project.
• Act as the primary liaison between Client, Construction, and Contractors to resolve design-related queries during construction.
• Responsible for the monitoring and ensuring Permitting Activities are on schedule and in sync with the overall Project Schedule.
• Awareness of all commercial aspects of design management including estimates, change control and out-turn costs.
• Oversee the design implementation during construction, ensuring that construction teams are executing the design as specified.
• Audit the design and identify inconsistencies, discrepancies and missing information and record, report and track the close-out of these items in an Information Required Schedule (IRS) format.
• Support the delivery / construction team in the resolution of design related issues in a timely manner to prevent an adverse effect on the construction programme.
• Accountable for design and technical due diligence of the acquisition program associated to the EMEA region.
• Interface with internal discipline leads in implementing the site-specific data center design masterplan and basis of design.
• Work with external customer requirements and the specific site design, based on Yondr’s standard design principles, feeding back requirements to Yondr basis of design documents.

Qualifications and experience

• At least 15 years’ experience of highly serviced buildings and possess an understanding of the relationships between the primary mechanical, electrical and ICT elements of the build. Knowledge of Data Centres or mission critical facilities is a must.
• Bachelor’s degree (essential) or Master’s degree (desirable) in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field plus professional certifications such as CEng, LEED AP, RIBA.
• In-depth knowledge of the design and construction process, which includes refurbishment and fit out. Track record of delivering successful sizable projects.
• Commercially savvy and support the commercial team to identify opportunities arising from design development and equally manage change control communications.
• Experience in building and leading high performing teams.
• Experience in managing working relationships (internal & external) with cross-cultural experience.

Role Overview

Accenture is looking for an exceptional Network Security Lead to join the Network Infrastructure Engineering practice. This senior individual contributor and client leading role requires deep enterprise network security expertise combined with commercial instinct and communication skills to win trust at the highest levels of a client organisation.

You will be the go to security authority within the network practice - the person clients call when they need to modernise their security architecture, navigate a compliance challenge, or respond to an evolving threat landscape. You will own relationships with a portfolio of blue chip enterprise clients, guiding them toward Zero Trust, SASE, and SSE adoption while shaping and delivering the work that follows.

Key Responsibilities Client Relationship & Advisory

• Own and develop trusted senior relationships across a portfolio of blue chip enterprise clients, acting as their primary network security advisor within Accenture.

• Strong understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals (routing, switching, SD WAN, WAN architecture) - able to engage credibly with network engineers, not just security practitioners.
• Experience designing or advising on large scale security transformation programmes in complex, multi site or multi cloud enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to enterprise clients (NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST CSF).

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Access Management Programme Manager will lead and oversee a portfolio of Identity and Privileged Access Management (IAM/PAM) and other Access Management related initiatives within the Cyber Portfolio. Core projects include IAM enhancements, IAM remediation, folder access management, and privileged access remediation. The role involves managing 3-4 Project Managers and ensuring successful delivery of complex, multi-stream programmes aligned with regulatory, security, and business objectives.

The Cyber Security Consultant will support digital security risk management capability through the identification, assessment, analysis, logging and ongoing monitoring of information and cyber security risks. The Retail and Consumer Goods (CPG) Solutions Architecture team is a diverse group of technologists from a variety of backgrounds, who work hand in hand with AWS’ Retail and CPG customers to understand their needs and provide prescriptive guidance on how to create business value with AWS technology.

As part of this team, you will blend business acumen with technical guidance to effectively engage with Retail and CPG organizations at all stages of cloud adoption, helping them reinvent their businesses using AWS technology and guiding them on their cloud journey. You will encourage innovation and drive change to achieve better customer outcomes.

You will manage the overall technical relationship between our customers and AWS, and lead activities such as architecture reviews, white boarding sessions, creating and delivering demos and technical workshops.

You will engage at all levels of Retail or CPG organizations to influence decision makers. Internally you’ll be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features as well as collaborating with other teams such as account management, professional services, support, and the AWS partner ecosystem.

In this role you will get to practice your creativity, linking technology to tangible solutions and educating AWS customers about the art of the possible. You will create and share best practices, technical content and reference architectures for a variety of use cases, including Agentic and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Serverless and Container based architectures, Data and Analytics, DevOps, and Security.

This role is within the United Kingdom & Ireland (UK&I) Retail and CPG organization, working with customers from Enterprises to Digital Natives. These customers are some of the largest and most innovative Retail and CPG organisations in the UK&I, including multi nationals. As an experienced professional with industry knowledge, you will already know that they often have significant technology landscapes built over many years to support large scale business operations. This is where your industry experience will pay dividends as the role will require you to be comfortable dealing with complexity, ambiguity and a broad set of technologies and use cases.

You will be focused on Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) preferably or Retail industries, building depth in common use cases, creating reusable solutions and guiding your customers with insight into industry technology best practices. The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of deep industry expertise in CPG (preferred) or Retail combined with strong technical capabilities. You could blend your industry expertise with advancements in AI to really delight our Retail and CPG customers with solutions to challenges they may not even be aware of yet - we are at an inflection point, the timing is perfect!

• Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by interviewing candidates and having a voice in hiring decisions

A day in the life

Days vary - you may be speaking to customers one day, speaking at an event on another, running a workshop the next, mentoring by day 4 and training on the 5th - within the space of a week. All in the name of customer obsession and industry impact.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• Experience in design, implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience communicating across technical and non technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
• Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
