Required Skills/Experience
Proven track record as a business analyst in capital markets, with deep expertise in fixed income (both cash and derivatives)
Calypso experience
Proven hands-on experience with the Calypso platform, including upgrades, configurations, and functional workflows.
Strong understanding of fixed income instruments such as bonds, repos, swaps, and derivatives, along with associated trade life cycle and risk management processes.
Experience working with front, middle, and back office stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Solid knowledge of trade capture, PnL, risk, and settlement workflows within Calypso.
Previous experience with Calypso upgrades or migrations is highly desirable.
Advanced knowledge of system analysis process and techniques, as well as system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows and business rules.
Responsibilities:
Work with technology partners (e.g. Solution Designers and Architects) to research and analyse current state system capabilities and define technology solutions options and recommendations.
Collaborate with the Fixed Income team to gather and analyse business requirements across cash and derivatives products.
Support and enhance Calypso platform functionality to align with evolving business needs, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
Conduct detailed gap analysis and propose solutions to bridge business requirements with system capabilities.
Lead or contribute to the Calypso upgrade process, ensuring seamless integration and minimal impact to existing workflows.
Document workflows, specifications, and system configurations for effective knowledge transfer and maintenance.
Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting of Calypso-related processes across cash and derivative instruments.
Work with technology teams to deliver enhancements and ensure robust data integration and process automation.
Provide user support and training to stakeholders, maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Stay up to date with market developments in the fixed income space and best practices in Calypso platform management.
Respect existing processes and standards, including requirements management and project management disciplines, technology delivery and business technology architecture, escalating issues as needed.
