Your Role

As a Registered Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to the children and young people in our home. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the delivery of all care services and strategic planning for the home.
  • Building on the principles and practice standards expected at Area Camden.
  • Leading and mentoring staff to ensure the best possible care for each young person.
  • Organizing work patterns and facilitating care-focused training.
  • Being personally available to support both staff and residents.
What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • NVQ Level 5 in Management and NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of the Children’s Act 1989 and Care Standards Act 2000.
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
Working Conditions

While the home manager is employed for 40 hours per week, you will have the flexibility to arrange your own work rota, which may include evening, weekend, and night shifts. You will be responsible for ensuring an appropriate staff presence to meet the childcare needs of the children and young people in the home.
