About the role:

You’ll be an integral part of the global Service Desk team, solving IT related issues for colleagues across the UK, North America, Canada and Japan. You’ll get to put your passion for delivering great customer service and high-quality support to good use.

Day-to-day, you’ll ensure issues are resolved within agreed SLAs and help to deliver continual Service Improvements across the wider business. The role will also involve providing technical expertise to 1st line Service Desk colleagues and other IT functions.

Some other duties include –

•                 Liaising with and providing technical expertise to other IT functions across the Drax Group

•                 Being the subject matter expert within the Service Desk for a defined list of systems and technologies

•                 Working with project teams to prepare for and onboard new and updated services

•                 Identifying opportunities to expand the scope of support provided within the Service Desk, embracing and encouraging a ‘shift left’ approach in collaboration with other support teams and service providers

Please note, this role covers regular travel across our Scottish hydro sites and you’ll be expected to travel in your own vehicle the majority of the time. Expenses will be paid for your travel. You’ll be expected to travel to other sites on average around 2 days per week depending on business needs.

This role requires you to be in the Glasgow office/on site 4 days per week and there’s the option to work one day from home.

You must have a valid UK driving licence.

Summary
The Installation Integration Engineer must be a self-starter who is team oriented and focused on delivering the highest level of service excellence to Leidos customers. Responsible for providing effective, efficient, and compliant on-site technical and customer support for installation of systems at assigned airports, as determined by Leidos needs. Will install, commission, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test a variety of complex X-ray or CT based electronic and electromechanical equipment, which may include computer and networking systems. Many of the systems are integrated into a larger airport systems environment including complex baggage handling systems. 
System types include the following but not limited to:
-    Check point CT systems.
-    Checkpoint x-ray systems.
-    Explosive Detection Systems (EDS)
-    Automatic tray return systems (ATRS) 
-    Explosive trace detection systems (ETD) 
-    Millimeter wave technology passenger screening (MMW).

Will follow standard protocol, procedures and identified best practices to isolate and resolve problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. The position requires the ability to work independently with limited supervision. 
Successful applicants will have a certified trade training, with stong experience in troubleshooting and repair of; x-ray computed tomography  systems, electro - mechanical equipment, PLC control systems. Please note that a 5-year UK reference period is required to obtain airside passes. 
Primary Responsibilities: 
•    Responsible for providing technical and customer support for installation projects. 
•    Install, maintain, troubleshoot/diagnose, repair, and test a wide variety of airport passenger and baggage security systems.
•    Perform scheduled and unscheduled Corrective Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and radiation surveys.
•    Maintain calibration on all test and radiation survey equipment.
•    Provide customer training assistance of installed systems and equipment.
•    Adhere to Leidos published maintenance and radiation survey checklists and procedures. 
•    Report design, reliability, and system bugs to technical support.
•    Follow down machine escalation protocol to ensure time resolution of system failures.
•    Prepare RMA repairable/returnable parts for shipment and return to identified defective location. Complete all RMA paperwork and reporting requirements.
•    Exercise judgment within broadly defined policies and procedures in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
•    Assume responsibility for continued customer satisfaction and coordinate all activities with the customer; assist with customer training while representing Leidos in a professional manner.
•    Must be highly proficient in reporting activities, maintaining local spare parts inventory, recording travel expenses and timecard, implementing Tech Bulletins (TB’s) and using good judgment when dealing with customers.

This role is based in Bourne at a site specialising in the preparation of fruit, leafy salads, and stir-fry mixes. The site employs over 1,200 people and is conveniently located just 16 miles from Peterborough and 12 miles from Spalding.

What you’ll be doing

In this busy and hands-on role as a Quality Auditor, you’ll audit, monitor, and continuously improve quality systems and procedures across site operations. Working closely with operational teams, you’ll provide practical technical support while maintaining and promoting quality and food safety standards in line with Greencore, customer, and legal requirements, with guidance from the QA Supervisor or Manager.

Role Accountabilities

• Audit compliance with QMS, GMP, and HACCP, raising clear non-conformances and driving corrective actions to closure
• Apply an inquisitive audit mindset to identify root causes and reduce repeat non-conformances
• Conduct traceability audits, efficiently retrieving data and presenting findings clearly
• Complete sampling activities to schedule, including microbiological, nutritional, swabs, and organoleptic testing
• Prepare, facilitate, and trend taste panels, escalating out-of-specification results and recommending improvements
• Calibrate factory measurement equipment to schedule and manage out-of-tolerance actions
• Support investigations into complaints, incidents, and out-of-specification results through audits and data analysis
• Support NPD trials and product launches, including testing, shelf-life assessment, and taste panels
• Provide day-to-day technical support to factory teams, audits, and customer visits
• Contribute to Technical KPI delivery through audits, investigations, and proactive improvement actions
• Work safely at all times, promoting strong health, safety, and environmental standards
