You’ll help transform the channel and market routes, improving both customer and colleague experiences, while delivering strong results for BT Business. This team will provide commercial analysis and insights to improve decision-making. Your role will focus on building solid data foundations, investigating key hypotheses, and delivering actionable insights to guide our strategy.
What you’ll be doing
• Data Availability – Collaborate with the Digital team to stay updated on the latest data availability and capabilities.
• Insight Reporting – Produce high quality, visually engaging reports that are easy to understand and provide actionable insights to the business.
• Insight Presentation – Assist in workshops and presentations to communicate findings and introduce new tools/products, ensuring successful adoption across the organisation.
• End-User Relationships – Support end-users by capturing new requirements, troubleshooting issues, and managing task onboarding within the team.
The skills you’ll need
• Commercial Acumen – Strong understanding of business strategy, market dynamics, and how analysis and insights support organisational goals with autonomy.
• Data Literacy – Ability to interpret and work with various datasets and understand their nuances.
• Technical Skills – Expertise in data visualisation tools (Tableau, Qlik), Excel, and SQL to extract, manipulate, and deliver actionable insights.
• Presentation Skills – Capable of simplifying complex ideas and delivering insights clearly, focusing on business impact for diverse stakeholders.
• Technical Understanding – Ability to bridge commercial and technical gaps, translating business needs into technical requirements for smooth execution.
• Creativity – Innovative thinker with a curiosity to explore new ideas and create visually engaging, impactful reports.
• Communication & Storytelling – Excellent at translating complex data into clear, engaging narratives and visualisations.
• Problem Solving – Experience identifying key challenges, defining problems, and designing analytical approaches to solve complex issues.
