About this role
At Just Eat Takeaway (JET), we are building a “One Logistics” data ecosystem. As a Senior Analyst in the Logistics Analytics team, you will be a key contributor to a major global transformation, moving beyond simple dashboard creation. The Mission

• Collaborative Modeling: Partner with Data Engineering and the central DNA team to map our complex logistics models into the new Gold Layer. You’ll be a key player in the KPI harmonisation effort, ensuring our definitions are consistent and accurate across every territory.

Senior Software Engineer (.NET / C#) Greenfield Systems Rebuild Remote (UK) 80,000- 100,000

This is a hands-on senior engineering role with real technical authority. You will be the lead engineer and technical decision-maker on a greenfield rebuild of a mission-critical system, working within a small, senior team and reporting directly to the Head of Technology. Once the build is delivered, the role expands into enterprise architecture responsibilities. You will be

• Lead the technical delivery of a greenfield rebuild of a core business system, covering policy, claims and integration layers.

• REST API design and integration experience at scale, including defining and governing integration standards.
• Microsoft SQL Server: schema design, query optimisation, and working knowledge of Always On configuration.
• Azure infrastructure: practical experience with Azure VM, SQL on Azure and Availability Groups.

We’re recruiting for a Database Administrator (DBA) to join our well established and respected client based in Leicester on a full time, permanent basis.

Location: Hybrid working options (3 days in the Leicester office).

Salary: 60,000 - 63,000 per annum (depending on experience).

The Role:

As a DBA, you will maintain and support customer databases on a 24/7 365 basis. You will oversee supporting the technical services infrastructure at Tier 3-4. Providing a seamless flow of information to the customers’ system, considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users. Ensuring successful integration within the clients existing systems and focusing on maximising the value clients receive from the products & services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding client needs, gathering requirements, and designing customised solutions to address specific challenges.
• Installing, configuring, and deploying company products or services in client environments.
• Assisting with data transfer from existing systems to the new solution.
• Integrating the company’s product with other client systems and applications.
• Assessment of current applications infrastructure architecture. Identify solutions to improve application availability and stabilise applications to improve customer experience.
• Enhance operational efficiencies and effectiveness via tools, scripts, workflow, technology, and process improvements.
• Technical lead and Tier 3-4 support for critical availability issues. Helps troubleshoot complex technical problems and provides operational crisis management.
• Maintain and support operational tools which will include 24/7 support according to agreed SLA.
• Staying current with the latest product features, industry trends, and best practices.
• Serve as a trusted DB advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance, best practices, and insights to help them derive the maximum value from our product.
• Collaborate with the development and support teams, promptly escalating and resolving technical issues or system discrepancies to maintain smooth operations for clients.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Excellent knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL.
• Knowledgeable with database performance tools such as Ignite.
• Experience with the following OS: Solaris, Linux, and Windows.
• Hands on experience with the following: MSSQL, Oracle, Sybase, MongoDB.
• Experience with writing shell scripts for Unix/Linux.
• Experience in query optimisation.
• 3+ years of experience in deep database analysis and database performance improvements.
• Assumes ownership of problems, root cause analysis and resolution.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electronics Test Engineer to join an established, global leader in specialist engineering. Based primarily at a facility in County Durham, you will be working on behalf of our client to provide dedicated technical expertise and drive innovation in automated test development.

You will report directly to the Senior Electronics Test Engineer and play a pivotal role in the design, development, and validation of custom automated test equipment (ATE). This is an autonomous, on-site position that requires a confident practitioner capable of managing the full test lifecycle while collaborating with wider engineering, NPI, and quality teams. This role offers a culture of trust and accountability, perfect for a professional who thrives on independence, creative problem-solving, and taking ownership of their work.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the design, development, and validation of custom automated test equipment (ATE) and bespoke fixtures.
• Create and optimize test sequences using LabVIEW and Python to enhance automated data capture and analysis.
• Contribute to the New Product Introduction process through test specification design, PFMEA activities, and failure analysis.
• Provide expert fault-finding support for both complex electronic products and internal diagnostic rigs.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, manage firmware version control, and produce detailed test reports for stakeholders.
• Deliver technical guidance and training to the technician team to ensure continuous improvement in production testing.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

ESSENTIAL

• Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (BEng) or a relevant discipline.
• Proven background in a Test Engineering role specifically within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong proficiency in LabVIEW for instrument control and system automation.
• Competency in Python for automating test routines, data processing, or system interfacing.
• Experience in database-driven data acquisition (SQL) and a structured approach to hardware troubleshooting.
• A proactive problem-solver who communicates clearly and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

DESIRABLE

• Proficiency in text-based languages such as Python, C#, or C++.
• Familiarity with modern automation trends, including the use of LLMs or advanced software tools to accelerate application development.
• Experience with firmware programming and version control protocols.
• Knowledge of APQP/SPQP frameworks and reliability engineering principles.
