Located in Waterlooville, with hybrid working available (3 days a week in office) you will be the first point of contact when a customer has a technical issue. You ll use your inquisitive and technical capabilities to question, troubleshoot and diagnose or escalate their issues, whilst always providing superb customer service.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting customers via telephone and email to troubleshoot and perform initial diagnosis of issues.
Prioritise incidents based on customer impact and urgency
Document recurring issues and share with the team
Monitor system performance metrics
Maintain communication with the customer, escalation routes and wider team on any issues.
Support and uphold the company s Information Security Management System in line with ISO regulations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Previous commercial experience in a technical support role, ideally within an MSP
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac devices
Prior support and management of Microsoft 365 products, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Intune
Experience with Azure
A basic understanding of networking including DNS, VLANs and connectivity issues
To be customer focused with a desire to provide excellent customer services
An understanding of ITIL is beneficial
Any computing certifications would be beneficial

What you’ll be doing:
As an Mobile Support Engineer, you will respond and resolve support calls allocated to the mobile support team and will perform installations, configuration, operations, and maintenance of business critical systems across multiple sites. As such, you will be:
Ensuring that all support calls are managed consistently (courteously, clearly, helpfully) according to agreed standards and appropriately agreed business impact and priority assigned
Provide excellent customer experience, both verbal and within toolset is paramount in all activities and is continually improved
Ensures that Business Critical tickets are handled appropriately and are escalated to the appropriate escalation groups
Identifies articles that can be published to end users and service desk, to support user self service/and first line resolution of support calls
Conduct root cause analysis to identify corrective actions to prevent repeat issues and re-work with support teams, business and partners
Build working relationships with site General Managers & key stakeholders to understand the impact on IT Service from changes or amendments to business processes and share with the team
Where required, perform regular system monitoring and alerting to verify the integrity and availability of appropriate resources and processes to allow services to perform effectively and in line with business expectation
Support Service Transition and Integration in part taking in onboarding activities to support the Greencore service model
What we’re looking for:
Expert knowledge of running/managing /using systems within a manufacturing environment
Good telephone skills and an ability to provide technical support over the phone
Logical problem solving skills and techniques
Good analytical and communication skills to be able to converse with business users in their language
Experience working within a multi-site organisation or Group
Good knowledge of server operating systems with particular focus on Windows Server 2003/Active Directory
Good knowledge of desktop operating systems and associated hardware and software (MS-Office/Lotus Notes)
Knowledge of leading business applications (ERP/CRM/SCM/HR)
Strong planning, communication and presentation skills coupled with the capability to listen and influence
Understands and has a strong appreciation for the frontline’ role service desk operations have on shaping the overall relationship between IT and the business
You must hold a full and clean UK drivers license and own your own vehicle for this role
You may be required on occasion to perform out of core hours work

The role

Key tasks and Responsibilities:

The Role
This role covers the full employee IT lifecycle, from onboarding and role changes to offboarding, ensuring staff have the right equipment, software, and access at all times.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Accounting for 100% of water supply on to each of our sites and identifying leakage events
Carrying out reactive and proactive leak detection on MOD sites and monitor the leakage system and collecting data
Recording relevant site data and feeding this information back to the demand management team
Installing and maintaining flow and pressure data logging equipment
Ensure that all relevant site data is captured through detailed on-site investigations
Escalating areas of risk to the wider business such as water quality issues, supply risks or H&S concerns
What You’ll Bring:
Knowledge of water supply configurations and hydraulics by using site plans and schematics
Knowledge of specialist leakage detection equipment such as correlators, cat and genny, acoustic logging and ground-mics
Extensive technical expertise in all methods used to account for consumption and leakage
Knowledge of testing and inspecting fire hydrants and configuring pressure and flow loggers (training will be given)
Good problem-solving, communication and mobile device IT skills
