Pumps, valves, fans, controls, and associated plant
Ensure all works are completed proactively, efficiently, and to the required standard.
Reactive Maintenance & Fault Finding
Diagnose faults across both HVAC and gas systems, completing repairs within SLA requirements.
Minimise downtime through effective troubleshooting and first-time fix focus.
Escalate complex issues to the helpdesk or Contract Manager where appropriate.
Compliance & Health & Safety
Ensure all gas works are completed in accordance with Gas Safe regulations and current legislation.
Ensure HVAC works comply with F-Gas regulations, manufacturer guidance, and company procedures.
Maintain site logbooks and ensure accurate compliance documentation is completed and uploaded via the CAFM system.
Work strictly in accordance with company H&S policies, RAMS, and statutory requirements.

Identify remedial works and produce accurate, commercially sound quotations, including:
Correct parts identification
Realistic labour allowances
Clear scope and methodology
Communication & Client Liaison
Communicate professionally with clients, helpdesk, supervisors, and contract managers.

The Role
We are seeking a versatile IT Systems Specialist to manage our core infrastructure and lead high-impact IT projects. This role bridges the gap between modern cloud services (M365/Azure) and robust on-premise systems, requiring a professional who is as comfortable designing a server cluster as they are.
What will I be delivering?
* M365 Suite: Full administration of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
* Security & Compliance: Manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and utilize Microsoft Intune for modern device management (MDM), application deployment, and OS update policies.
* Identity: Administer Entra ID (Azure AD), ensuring secure identity lifecycle management and Conditional Access.
* Hypervisor Management: Hands-on administration and optimization of Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, and Proxmox environments.
* Hardware Implementation: Lead the installation and maintenance of physical clusters, enterprise servers, SAN/NAS storage solutions, and robust WiFi networks.
* ERP Administration: Act as the primary IT administrator for Dynamics Business Central (On-Premise), focusing on environment stability, permissions, and performance monitoring (application/IT side only).
* Network Security: Manage Sophos Central, including the configuration and monitoring of Sophos XGS Firewalls and Intercept X Endpoint protection.
* Data Protection: Own the backup and disaster recovery strategy using Veeam Backup & Replication for both virtual and physical workloads.
* Tooling Support: Provide administrative support for on-premise Jenkins and GitLab instances to support development workflows.
* SaaS Collaboration: Manage Atlassian Jira and Confluence (SaaS) for project tracking and internal documentation.

Essential knowledge & experience:
* Virtualization Expertise: Deep practical knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, and Proxmox clusters.
* Project Management: Proven experience in implementing end-to-end IT projects, from hardware racking to service go-live.
* Network Security: Strong understanding of firewall rules, VPNs, and endpoint threat hunting (ideally with Sophos or similar).
* Troubleshooting: Advanced 2nd/3rd line support skills for complex hybrid environments.

I’m working with a Tridium & Trend biased BMS company who seek a BMS Engineer to cover 2 key sites, one in Sutton & the other in Chelsea. The directors are keen to speak to BMS Engineers who are proficient with BMS service & small work project duties on Trend systems.
The BMS Engineer will be certified & experienced with Trend products (IQvision, 963, IQ3, IQ4, SET for example), the 2 sites you’d be expected to cover have a mix of these systems. Duties would include routine BMS service, breakdowns, fault finding & small works. The BMS Engineers time would be split between Sutton (3 days) & Chelsea (2 days).
It’s key for the BMS Engineer to be comfortable with client liaison, quoting new BMS small work projects (upgrades, retrofits, installs) & coordinating with sub contractors.
