Job Role:
The management of DTI s NPD testing facilities and the development of them to support the company transition towards becoming the market leader in CT well intervention and well barriers
Perform design verification and function testing and aid in the development of prototype and existing products
Undertake function and validation testing against industry performance standards, such as ISO and API
Provide customers with advice, tool training (both servicing and operational) and guidance on how to run the tools
Lead pre-commercial and early in-field customer deployments of new products
Identify, qualify and advise the sales team of opportunities from a technical perspective through customer interaction
Support in the design and review of new products and attend and participate in design reviews
Support the Engineering team in meeting the ongoing requirements of the business
A high productivity of output to ensure project deliverables are met
Assembly and testing of production tools, field support
Skills and Experience:
Strong technical background with mechanical engineering qualification
Demonstrable experience of well intervention, completion. P&A and artificial lift operations and technology
Experience in providing test reports with clear outcomes and recommendations
Must be able to clearly articulate technical principles and tool functionality and application
Must be able to listen to customer problems, extract key constraints and develop solutions from existing products, or if none exist to suggest new products to engineering
Must have a clear customer focus and be able to understand the variety of stakeholders and cultures in different areas of the business and respond to them accordingly
Experience of international travel and different business cultures would be an advantage
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Your new role
