About The Role

Resonate Testing are seeking a motivated and enthusiasticTestEngineerto join our growing laboratory team. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on planning, executing, and reporting physical tests programmes in a controlled laboratory environment.

You will work directly with test equipment, support customer test programmes, and ensure testing is complete accurately, safely, and to relevant standards.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys practical work, problem solving, and working with real hardware, rather than purely desk-based or software-only testing.

What does this role involve?

This role is responsible for the verification of software of engineering products. The main duties of the role include:

Liaise with Engineering and R&D teams to determine current and future test requirements in order to plan and coordinate resourcing for each project.
Coordinate the daily activities of the Software Test Engineering Team, setting objectives and reviewing quality and performance against objectives.
Report on status of test projects to direct and senior management.
Create test strategies for standalone software products or new products containing software.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of software and analyser platforms in order to develop appropriate test protocols.
Understanding the entire system and reporting on the test coverage.
Create, locate and acquire data required for testing assignments.
Estimate Software Testing activities as required by the Project Manager.
Create verification test cases to assure: Quality, Functionality, Reliability and Usability of standalone software products or products containing software.
Execute manual and automated test cases on standalone software products or products containing software.
Identify and record software defects within a problem-tracking system.
Contribute to FMEA and risk assessments for projects under development.
Ensure all systems are tested to a high quality, ensuring compliance with appropriate internal procedures and European and International standards.
Partake in reviews to determine the status of software and associated products to ensure products released by Randox have been suitably verified.

Qualified to degree level in a software related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years experience working within a Software Test environment.

We are looking for the Warehouse Supervisor, Operations Lead, or “Go-To” Floor Person who is tired of fighting clunky systems and ready to build a better one. Real world, hands-on, warehousing experience having ideally worked in an e-commerce business using a WMS system will fit right in.

If you have worked for a 3PL, or in the client setup space, even better.

They are actively expanding their Quality Assurance department, bringing together a dedicated testing team with a natural leader, who can drive automated testing, strengthen release reliability, and ensure our WMS platforms are robust, scalable, and ready for real-world warehouse environments.

Is this you?

The Floor Legend: You are the person everyone asks for help when the WMS acts up, the labels won’t print, or a new e-commerce client needs to be onboarded.
E-commerce DNA: You’ve lived the pick-pack-ship grind. You know that in high-volume e-commerce, a “small glitch” at 3pm is a disaster.
Sharp & Tech-Literate: You are not a coder, but you are “techy.” You have probably used YouTube or AI to solve problems before. You are curious, fast, and bored of just packing boxes.
3PL Experience (Nice to have): If you have handled client setups or multi-tenant warehousing, you’ll fit right in.

The Role:

Your job is to be the final gatekeeper. Before a feature reaches their customers, it has to pass you.

Real-World Testing: You will put new features through the ringer. If a workflow is slow, confusing, or “doesn’t work like a warehouse actually works,” you send it back to the Developers.
Master the Tools: They will train you on the technical side. Using modern AI and testing platforms, we will show you how to turn your warehouse knowledge into professional software QC.
Outcome Obsessed: Their customers pay for a service, not code. You will ensure the “service” is bulletproof.

About the role

As a Weekend Team Member, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our high-quality products are produced efficiently and to the highest standards.
