The Opportunity

As one of our client’s AV Engineers, youll play a key role in shaping and supporting their expert installation and service engineering team. Your skills and experience

  • Extensive experience in the Audio-Visual industry, with a strong background in AV systems design, and integration.
  • Proven track record of working hands-on from 1st fix through to commissioning
  • Deep understanding of AV technologies including video distribution, networking, audio processing, projection, and display systems
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to independently manage a workload of 45 projects, sometimes up to 10
  • Full UK driving licence & CSCS card

  • Geotechnical exposure (logging, foundations, basic design review)
  • Professional chartership (CEnv, CGeol) or working towards it
  • Experience providing quotes and handling client discussions

What will your role look like?

  • Lead the environmental side of investigations (Phases 14)
  • Scope, design and supervise ground investigations
  • Produce interpretive reports, remediation strategies and risk assessments
  • Deliver Phase I, II and III reporting, including technical checks and peer review
  • Undertake contaminated land assessments: CLEA, P20, landfill gas, groundwater, waste soil classification
  • Oversee and mentor two junior staff
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing quotes and project expectations
  • Maintain high independence in decision-making, with onboarding support
  • Take full ownership of the environmental workstream within 612 months
  • Collaborate with geotechnical and field engineers throughout project delivery
