Role Overview

Leidos Europe Ltd is seeking a UK based Deputy Head of Compliance and Continuous Improvement who is a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

You will be a dedicated resource to the Logistics Division working on the Ministry of Defence Logistics, Commodities and Services Transformation (LCST) Programme.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance and Continuous Improvement,  the Deputy Head will oversee a programme team quality function and the audit/assurance programme covering internal, external and supplier audits. You will be acting as the first point of contact for associated issues.

As a key member of the compliance team, you will have tangible as well as strategic input within a growing business. You will be accountable for driving the culture of quality and compliance to the next level as the programme continues to expand.

The role will be hybrid, with expectations to be in office at least twice a week and some travel will be required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

This position is a hands-on leader with strong background in quality assurance and quality control in an operational environment. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and evidence of CPD study on quality-related subjects.

This position will work cross-functionally with our Defence customer, key sub-contractors and the operations teams to be ensure the quality programmes and procedures are of the highest standards so that we deliver products and services of the highest quality to our customers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Overseeing programme wide quality processes to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
  • Oversee development and self-inspections of the quality management systems
  • A champion of continuous improvement you will support a culture of problem solving and service evolution
  • The role will also drive forward on critical compliance topics such as ISO and AQAP activity
  • Ensure that adequate records are maintained
  • Ensure that all personnel are trained and aware of compliance and quality requirements
  • Deputise for the Head of Compliance in both Customer and Key Sub-Contractor meetings, where necessary

Skill Required:

  • Certification in a relevant discipline is necessary, as would working within an established quality team in an operations environment
  • Holds ISO9001 Lead Auditor Qualification
  • Experience implementing corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) and conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Proven experience working as an auditor alongside development, implementation and maintenance of quality systems is essential
  • Credibility at a senior management level with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience of implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Experience of Internal, external and supplier auditing
  • People management skills and the ability to develop others
  • Willing to travel UK and Overseas

Desirable Skills Required:

  • Experience working with MOD contracts, policies and procedures including AQAP, Defence Standards and Joint Service Publications.

We’re partnering with a leading global investment organisation to find an experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering next-generation digital and marketing technology platforms.

This is a hands-on leadership role-ideal for someone who still enjoys coding while leading from the front. You’ll combine deep technical expertise across Java, AWS, and modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular) with strong leadership capability and a passion for data-driven, customer-centric platforms.

Role Overview

  • Lead design and delivery of full stack, microservices-based solutions (Java, Angular, AWS)
  • Stay hands-on with coding while setting technical direction and standards
  • Drive MarTech initiatives across Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and Adobe Target
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to deliver data-driven, scalable solutions
  • Own architecture, CI/CD, TDD, and engineering best practices
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical challenges

What We’re Looking For

  • Current Lead Engineer with strong hands-on full stack experience
  • Expertise in Java, JavaScript (Angular), and AWS
  • Experience in microservices, APIs, and cloud-native architecture
  • Exposure to Adobe MarTech stack (AEM, AEP, Target)
  • Background in or strong interest in data analytics / data-driven platforms

As ourTechnical Systems Manager, you will play a key part in the implementation of our Rock Mineral Wool projects whilst ensuring we adhere to regulatory and commercial needs.

What youll be doing

  • Plan and deliver testing and assessment to support the delivery of the Shotton Certification Preparation Plan
  • Liaise with regulations specialists within KI to understands implications for testing
  • Monitor the relevant testing methods and testing standards to support a strategy that ensures we are delivering compliant products & systems in the most effective way.
  • Understand and disseminate requirements of test standards.
  • The Technical Systems Manager will be the lead person that develops and supports fire test programs
  • Product and system testing for both GMW and RMW and can also include non-fire applications such as acoustics, flat roof loading and fixing pull-through testing.
  • Triage testing and system development ideas from the wider business in preparation for NPD decisions.
  • Achieve specific certification or 3rd party documentation when required
  • Develop strong partnerships with product management to provide technical input into relevant projects, market messaging and collateral.
  • With the support of the Technical Quality Manager, Specification teams and Product Managers, identify from internal projects and site visits, new or enhanced products or system opportunities.
  • Interface with other team members, departments, and the plants to support the product development process and follow-up product certification to ensure product compliance.
  • Responsibility for delivery of testing and assessment is limited to KINE products and systems only.

  • Relevant degree within the construction
  • 5 years of construction/construction product work experience
  • Have a good knowledge of construction types & construction details
  • Have a basic knowledge of all relevant Building Regulations and product and application standards
  • Be able to interpret construction descriptions, sketches and drawings
  • Must have a hands on approach and direct experience of product testing ideally within the construction industry with relation to fire
  • Comprehensive IT skill set
  • Good reporting and data interpretation skills
  • Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Effective management and prioritization of personal workload
