  • Work closely with customers and internal teams to understand manufacturing processes, line layouts, operational requirements and system challenges
  • Lead the implementation, configuration and improvement of MES and shop floor systems within live production environments
  • Deliver solutions for production tracking, traceability, data capture, inspection processes and operational visibility
  • Support and guide integration between MES, PLC, SCADA, industrial data platforms and wider business systems such as ERP
  • Contribute to functional analysis, solution design, testing, commissioning and go live activity
  • Take ownership of resolving technical and operational issues affecting MES performance, system reliability and data quality
  • Produce clear technical documentation, workflows and support material for users and internal teams
  • Work closely with production, engineering, IT and quality teams to ensure systems align with how the factory operates
  • Support and guide upgrades, enhancements and continuous improvement activity across manufacturing systems

What we are looking for

  • Experience delivering or leading MES or manufacturing systems implementation within live production environments
  • Strong understanding of shop floor operations, production lines and manufacturing execution systems
  • Experience working with industrial automation and control systems, including exposure to PLC, SCADA or similar technologies
  • Understanding of how manufacturing systems sit between shop floor equipment and enterprise systems
  • Experience with system integration, industrial data flows and real time production information
  • Strong technical problem solving skills and ability to work through issues in live operational settings
  • Comfortable working with cross functional teams including operations, engineering, IT and quality
  • Able to produce functional and technical documentation to support delivery and long term system use
