Design Lead - Role Profile:
The successful Wireless Telecoms Infrastructure Design Lead will be working on all aspects of technical site designs for key Wireless and Mobile Network Operator (MNO) projects. You will be working and supporting the Telent Wireless Design team, sharing your expertise as a Lead Wireless Infrastructure Designer to ensure the highest quality of design and to innovate new solutions where necessary.
Design Lead - What you’ll do:
Produce comprehensive Wireless Telecoms Infrastructure design solutions that meet the customer’s requirements.
Ensure high quality designs that meet compliance and standards, and promotes a right first time approach.
Rectify technical design issues that may prevent progress on individual wireless telecoms infrastructure sites / projects.
Provide reliable guidance and advice on design solutions to other members of the Design team, other adjacent internal teams, the customer and external suppliers.
Support the Design team with complex site solutions and escalations.
Implement best practices, compliance and industry standards in Wireless Telecoms Infrastructure site design.
Keep up to date with new or revised guidance / policies.
Review Quality Assurance queries and liaise with the client to resolve technical issues.
Occasionally attend site to carry out complex Surveys or conduct site meetings to discuss design issues.
Assist with the production of standard and templated drawings as part of a library of details / drawings.
Attend client review meetings to discuss design solutions*.*
Design Lead - Who you are:
The successful Design Lead will naturally be experienced and be knowledgeable in Wireless Telecoms Infrastructure and equipment / technologies. You will lead and manage your own sites (Design phase of Wireless Telecoms Infrastructure Design & Build), and be comfortable in taking ownership of your own design work and activities. This Design Lead role also requires you to knowledge share, and always keep an open mind to continuous improvement, whilst maintaining good customer service - these are the traits we also look for.
Design Lead - Key requirements:
Experience as a site Designer for Mobile Telecoms / Mobile Network Operators - site Design experience
Ability to use Microsoft Office software, primarily Outlook, Excel, Word
Good communication skills - verbal and written
Able to work well in a team and as an individual
Possess good attention to detail
Knowledge of customer design guidance/specifications (CTIL/MBNL)
General understanding of Structural and Electrical design
Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering - Desirable
Experience of using CAD software (preferably AutoCAD or similar)
A holder of a Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel if needed

CPS Group have partnered with a global Media Technology business who have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Cloud Operations and Delivery Director to join.
This is a key senior hire, with a total head count of circa 25-30, overseeing Operations, Customer Integration and Delivery within a Cloud (AWS) ecosystem. You will play a pivotal part in improving the efficiencies from project signoff through to customer launch - ensuring customer expectations are met, while maximising profitability.
We are ideally seeking a strong strategic leader, with deep expertise in AWS cloud deployment, (service reliability, scalability and performance) combined with strong end-to-end system integration experience, a focus on SLAs and track record of accelerating customer launches (within a B2B setting).
Reports are spread internationally so experience of managing offshore resource would be a benefit, as would a background within B2B Media Technology - but this is not essential.
