RAN Engineering Specialist

We are looking for a RAN Engineering Specialist to act as a system engineering lead for 2G and 4G networks. In this role, you will be the primary technical expert for complex fault investigations and network resilience.

As part of a high-performing Performance & Optimization team, you will directly impact network efficiency and the subscriber experience, ensuring our infrastructure remains a global leader in connectivity.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Fault Leadership: Lead complex fault investigations on 2G/4G RAN sites, cells, and BSC issues.
• Configuration & Scripting: Create and implement configuration scripts and commissioning files using Huawei platforms and WIM Unison.
• Disaster Recovery: Design, manage, and regularly test BSC disaster recovery processes to ensure network stability.
• Network Evolution: Execute overnight script implementations (such as BSC reparenting) and conduct lab-based testing.

The Skills You’ll Need

• Deep Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of Huawei 2G/4G RAN and BSC architectures.
• Platform Proficiency: Proven ability to write and implement scripts on Huawei MAE and WIM Unison platforms.

ArcGis Monitor Specialist

• Day Rate: £550pd
• IR35 Status: Inside IR35

This ArcGis Monitor Specialist will have the following previous experience:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain ArcGIS Monitor to support the health and stability of ArcGIS Enterprise environments, ensuring seamless integration with core components such as Portal, Server, and Data Store.
• Monitor and analyse the performance of GIS platforms hosted in cloud environments, tracking usage across compute, storage, and networking resources while maintaining clear operational dashboards.
• Design and manage alerting frameworks that identify performance issues, system failures, or abnormal activity, enabling rapid response and resolution.
• Assess system metrics and produce regular operational reports on availability, performance, and resource consumption, highlighting opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency
• Demonstrated expertise with ArcGIS Enterprise (v11.5) and ArcGIS Monitor, along with knowledge of cloud platforms (eg, AWS or Azure); Scripting or automation skills (Python/PowerShell) and familiarity with infrastructure or DevOps monitoring tools are advantageous.

The role:

• This is a hands-on role for a DevOps Engineer to work within a multi-disciplinary delivery team, aligned to the Client healthcare platform

Role objective:

• Proven experience as an ElasticSearch SME with Active Security Clearance (SC)
• Working experience using ElasticSearch as core component, not just ELK logging
• Hands on support of legacy applications and infrastructure
• Strong experience with Nginx and Apache Tomcat/HTTP
