You’ll join an experienced engineering team on a busy, well invested manufacturing site. The role will involve a mix of planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown support and some project work, working on a range of high speed production and packaging equipment.
The site has good engineering support and well equipped workshop facilities, allowing the team to carry out a large proportion of work in house.
You’ll work 12 hour shifts, either 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am, on a rotating pattern of 2-3 days on and off. The rota runs in two week blocks of days followed by two weeks of nights.

The Lightning Systems Integration Facility (LSIF) is established at the Maritime Integration & Support Centre (MISC) on Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth, to support testing and integration of the F35 Lightning II Aircraft within the UK military infrastructure.
A UKLTI System Administrator is required to administer, patch, secure and maintain the LSIF systems within the MISC environment, prepare the systems in line with testing requirements, and occasionally implement changes to the facility and established infrastructure.
