Person Specification / Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Sprinkler Engineer or similar role within the fire protection / suppression industry (installation and/or maintenance).
In-depth knowledge of sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge etc.) and riser systems; comfort with servicing, testing, maintenance and remedial works.
Strong fault-finding, mechanical and hydraulic understanding, with ability to diagnose and rectify system issues.
Familiarity with relevant British / EN fire safety standards (e.g. BS EN 12845, BS 9251 or equivalent) and compliance expectations.
Full, clean UK driving licence (field-based work across multiple sites likely).
Self-motivated, reliable, with strong attention to detail and good communication skills. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team across multiple client sites.
Flexibility to respond to reactive maintenance and emergency call-outs when required.
Desirable (but not essential):
Relevant fire protection / sprinkler system certification or accreditation (e.g. LPCB, recognised fire-protection qualification, or equivalent).
