Role Overview

Summary

  • Maintain knowledge of new and existing equipment and seek opportunities to gain specific knowledge of HV commissioning best practice.
  • Apply current legislation regarding standard, CDM, quality control, commissioning, safety & environmental issues relating to all activities.

  • Provide support to the Head of Waste Water on all regional waste water adoption enquiries.
  • Assist in budget planning and forecasting for all waste water adoption activities
  • Ensuring activities and assets are compliant with all relevant legislation.
  • Leading on new assets handover, ensuring all relevant records, agreements and contracts are in place.
  • Attend the pre-start meeting with the developer and contractor prior to the commencement of drainage installation to ensure alignment with the requirements.
  • To ensure that site inspections and contractor checks are carried out in accordance with the Water Act, the latest edition of the DCG and AWIN requirements.
  • Carry out pre-maintenance inspections, provide snagging lists and carry out final inspections prior to final adoption.
  • To attend air / water tests on new sewer installations ensuring that they all pass.
  • Provide technical leadership and assurance for the testing, commissioning, and performance validation of wastewater assets, including sewers, pumping stations, rising mains and SuDS features.
  • Assist with the integration of new adopted Waste-Water assets into company GIS system.
  • To advise on engineering solutions with the developers when any complicated installations arise.
  • Liaise closely with ground workers and site agents.
  • To risk assess all situations on site so as not to compromise Health & Safety.

ROLE PROFILE:

As a Lead in the Engineering Practices team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing engineering practices across the organisation. This varied position covers many aspects of engineering, including Cloud, Software Development, DevOps, CICD, Observability and Operations, ensuring our engineering practices are fit-for-purpose and ensuring best practices are adopted throughout our teams.

Key responsibilities of this role will be to drive initiatives around operational practices, including FinOps, Observability, Resilience and Operational Automation. Driving operational cost efficiency initiatives across the Group will be a critical outcome.

Success in this role will be measured by increased operational efficiency, as measured by metrics that you will need to develop and build. ROLE SUMMARY:

  • Develop strategies, then steer and monitor the delivery of key parts of our Engineering Practices, as needed. Key focus area for this role will be Operational practices - including FinOps, Observability, Resilience and Operational Automation.
  • Lead the evolution and adoption of engineering practices across the organisation, ensuring methodologies remain up-to-date and effective, particularly in support of AI initiatives.
  • Lead initiatives to drive operational cost efficiency across the Group, in areas such as Cloud, Software Licencing, Infrastructure Decommissioning, and Automation.
  • Define and build metrics to measure operational efficiency across the Group.

The VP - Client Platforms Business Analyst will lead delivery of a strategic FX pricing and distribution transformation within FX Technology.

This is a senior business analyst role critical to a revenue-generating business. The individual must combine strong technology delivery capability with deep FX pricing and distribution knowledge.

FX pricing and distribution technology is revenue-critical infrastructure; small architectural or pricing logic changes can materially impact P&L.

Role Overview/What you will do:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of FX pricing and distribution technology transformation.

  • Oversee pricing enhancements (spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs).

  • Govern distribution platform delivery ( eFX , SDP, APIs, multi-dealer, RFQ).

ROLE SUMMARY:
