Reporting into the Senior Electrical Engineer within the Royston Engineering team, the EC&I Engineer is responsible for providing second level technical support and expertise across a diverse range of industrial equipment. The role will drive implementation the delivery of EC&I improvement plans to ensure business needs both now and in the future are met.

The role:

As an EC&I Engineer, you will help drive our goals by:

• Ensures programmes are in place to manage compliance inspections across EC&I equipment on site (ATEX, Functional
  Safety, Gas Detection, Fire Alarms, Environmental Analysers, Fire Suppression, Test Equipment calibration etc).
• Provide second level technical support to the Maintenance shift teams to assist root cause analysis of complex plant EC&I breakdowns.
• Ownership of EC&I maintenance plans ensuring industry best practice is embedded across the plant.
• Ensure instrument loop calibrations are completed to satisfy ISO9001 and 14001 requirements.
• Working with the Senior Electrical Engineer, ensure contingency plans are in place to support site controls systems and instrumentation as well as the power distribution to meet the business/operational needs.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) of complex breakdowns of plant issues.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience managing maintenance of industrial EC&I equipment within a similar industry (chemical,
  pharma, food etc)
• Good understanding of maintenance techniques and their application
• Knowledge of applicable international standards (e.g., IEC 60079, IEC 61511)
• Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., COMAH, Chemical, Oil & Gas etc.) is not essential but highly desirable

About The Role

• Able to collaborate and work effectively within a multidisciplinary and diverse team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experienced in rebar design and checking.
• Have good understanding of civil/structural design and principles.
• Have a strong background in producing drawings
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Able to train and mentor site engineers and others to produce in accordance with standards.
• Prior experience of ProjectWise and Revit beneficial but not essential.
• Basic awareness of ISO 19650 (Level 2 BIM) or BS1192 and associated PAS/BS 1192 codes required.

Staff Engineer (Oracle MOM)

Who we are
The Oracle Retail Solution Delivery team develops the software and systems that support TJX’s core financial Oracle MOM suite applications including Stock Ledger, Sales Audit and Markdowns. This role leverages your experience with Oracle Technologies to deliver our scalable global applications. Our team is looking for people with a passion for technology, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to try new things that drive better solutions and help the MOM ART achieve high-value results for our customers. We want creative people that are familiar with the challenges of working within a large organization with many stakeholders as well as the hands-on challenges of designing, developing, and
deploying software using Oracle technologies. A strong background of technical and functional achievements with the MOM suite with a commensurate detailed knowledge of the strengths/weaknesses of the on-prom suite is expected. A solid awareness of the ORACLE SaaS Merchandise Foundation, Price Hub & Sales Audit offerings a plus.

Responsibilities include;

• Providing analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
• Demonstrate a substantial Oracle Retail, Retail domain design level of knowledge (SaaS & ONPREM)
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing Oracle retail modules
• (ONPREM/SaaS) customizations within MFCS
• Demonstrate Expertise working on a wide range of Integration patterns
• Ability to define effective Architectural and Design guard rails that drive efficient design and development processes

Demonstrated hands-on success;

• in programming using: Java, Pro C and PL/SQL
• in scripting languages using: JavaScript and shell script
• in database query language such as: Oracle - performance, EXA, etc.
• 9 + years of experience as an Engineer in a Retail domain or related occupation
• Experience must include experience in agile software development
• Demonstrated technical thought leadership in customer facing situations
• Experience with industry standards for enterprise integration patterns

This position has a starting salary range of $112,800.00 to $146,600.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
