Through your team of Project Managers, Project Engineers and Designers you will own and manage a portfolio of bespoke design projects throughout the complete project lifecycle. In addition, you will manage the engineering of the company’s range of ‘Standard Products’ which include a range of pumping and vacuum equipment with responsibility for overseeing multiple concurrent projects at any one time. Your team will be accountable for the design, commercial delivery and technical performance of projects.
You will be responsible for the planning, control and coordination of multi-disciplined teams consisting of Project Management, Mechanical, Electrical and Documentation Engineers, and work with procurement and operations to ensure smooth delivery on time and to cost. Safety, reliability, documentation and procedural adherence are an essential part of the role, along with adhering to established procedures and Risk Assessment, and Technical sign off of projects including the completion of the Declaration of Conformity.
A sound engineering background involving complex electric or diesel driven rotating equipment utilising mechanical/electro-mechanical and hydraulic components functioning in safe and hazardous areas is essential. A proven record of initiative, innovation and inventiveness in this field is required.
An ability to inspire your team and keep an active insight of emerging technologies and markets that utilises the team capabilities.
