Little Bill Laundry provides a reliable, environmentally friendly linen washing service to London hotels, making sure that all linen is be handled with the utmost care. We have been laundering linen for the hospitality industry for more than 100 years, from our automated industrial laundry facility based in Leyton (E10). The laundry produces over 500,000 pieces a week, working one shift 7 days a week with two tunnel washer, three ironers and three towels folders apart from other ancillary equipment. As our Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a vital part in both laundries, maintaining all machinery to ensure all service and repairs are done in a timely manner.
What We’re Looking For:
In this dynamic position, you will design and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for all machinery, installations, and equipment within our laundry facilities. Your expertise will be vital in managing maintenance operations, liaising with external suppliers, and ensuring that all laundry machines are serviced and repaired promptly.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records of electrical and mechanical breakdowns, prioritising tasks to minimise productivity impacts, and providing recommendations to senior management based on data analysis. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and managing the engineering team to uphold our high standards of safety and efficiency.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Fire Sprinkler Engineer for a permanent opportunity covering London and surrounding areas including Croydon, Enfield, Harrow and Bromley. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Fire Sprinkler Engineer looking to step into a senior level position with increased responsibility, leadership input and long term career progression.
As a Senior Fire Sprinkler Engineer, you will take a leading role in the installation, servicing, maintenance and commissioning of fire sprinkler systems across commercial and residential sites. The Senior Fire Sprinkler Engineer will be responsible for delivering high quality technical work while supporting junior engineers, overseeing site activities and ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time and in line with current industry standards.

Key responsibilities
• Carry out servicing and remedial works of commercial and residential sprinkler systems, fire hydrants, fire hose reels and dry and wet risers in accordance with the latest British and EN standards
• Provide technical information to support quotations for upgrades or system modifications in line with manufacturer and industry guidelines
• Ensure all work meets industry standards and complies with current safety regulations
• Conduct inspections, testing, servicing and remedial works of domestic and commercial fire sprinkler and wet riser systems
• Identify and troubleshoot system issues, carrying out necessary repairs efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints and design layouts
• Carry out site surveys for remedial works and system improvements

A well-established and growing Building Management Systems (BMS) specialist is seeking experienced Service & Commissioning Engineers to join its site-based engineering team across London and the South East.
This opportunity would suit a technically strong BMS Engineer with hands-on commissioning and servicing experience, ideally with working knowledge of Trend and/or Tridium systems.
The Role
This is a field-based position working across commercial and industrial sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning, servicing, fault-finding and optimising BMS systems to ensure projects are delivered to specification and existing systems operate efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Commissioning BMS systems in line with project specifications and descriptions of operation.
Servicing and maintaining existing BMS installations.
Diagnosing and rectifying software and hardware faults.
Modifying and updating BMS software and graphics where required.
Performing point-to-point checks and full system testing.
Optimising system performance to improve energy efficiency and plant operation.
Working closely with Project Managers, Applications Engineers and clients on-site.
Producing commissioning documentation and service reports.
Providing technical support and guidance to clients during and after commissioning.
Attending reactive breakdown call-outs when required.
Ensuring works are completed safely and in accordance with company and industry standards.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Proven experience as a BMS Service and/or Commissioning Engineer.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
