What will you be doing?

  • Working from home, you will receive daily appointments via a tablet device. Alongside this, your van will be stocked overnight by our couriers.
  • You will visit customers with prearranged appointments via our scheduling team, where you will carry out a variety of work including servicing, repairs, diagnostics and commissioning to warranty and contract customers.
  • You will be capable of delivering excellent customer service and top-quality solutions.
  • Whilst full product training will be given, you will be confident in your diagnostics skills.

On a daily basis youll be responsible for:

  • Visitingcustomersproperties to carry out a variety of work mainly diagnostics and breakdowns but also emergency repairs to annual servicing.
  • Providing excellent customer service through effective communication
  • Manage your workload of daily appointments via a tablet device
  • Manage your van stock by ensuring all old faulty parts and good stock for credit are returned as well as receive new stock which are delivered over night are placed in their locations in the rear load space of your van.

Full Time -You will average 41.5 hours per week over the year working annualised hours (less in summer more in winter) but your pay will not change! This includes some weekend, evening and bank holiday work

About you:

  • Hold domestic Gas ACS Certification or equivalent
  • Full Driving License
  • A background in servicing, repair and maintenance of gas boilers

IT is critical to enabling the organisation to deliver excellent services, and this role plays a key part in ensuring technology is reliable, well-governed, and user-focused. You will manage a team of three, overseeing IT Service Management and infrastructure for around 180 laptops, 170 Android devices, and a range of supporting systems. The service supports staff with varied levels of technical confidence, delivering training, guidance, and responsive support while ensuring compliance with relevant policies, legislation, and governance standards. This role is ideal for a service-management-focused professional who enjoys a hands-on environment. You will promote best practice, improve service maturity, and balance operational needs with long-term improvement all within clear funding and resource constraints. A key strength will be your ability to explain technical risks, priorities, and opportunities clearly to non-technical stakeholders. You will work closely with service managers, the Senior Leadership Team, and an external Managed Service Provider to deliver resilient, cost-effective IT services aligned to organisational needs. What you ll do

You ll provide technical engineering support to customers by phone, helping customers diagnose faults and resolve them, along with providing installation support if needed. You ll also support internal teams by providing technical advice for quotations and product solutions.   • Educated in engineering subjects to Level 3 (A Level) standard or educated beyond this in subjects with a strong connection to engineering
  • Strong engineering mindset - you ll need to diagnose and solve technical problems
  • Good customer service skills - you ll be talking to customers over the phone who need urgent and immediate help
  • Good team skills - together you will be dealing with a high volume of calls that underpin a reputation for technical expertise
  • Ideally, previous work experience involving electrical/mechanical engineering knowledge
