As a Workshop Engineer, you will maintain, repair and service a wide range of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet trucks, counterbalance trucks and very narrow aisle (VNA) trucks. Youll carry out routine maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, fault diagnosis and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is safe, reliable and operating at peak performance. Working from the depot, you will be part of a skilled engineering team, delivering high standards of service and supporting customers operations.

We are now recruiting for a dynamic and passionate after sale technical engineer to join their fast-growing team.
The role:
You will be required to give customers the best-in-class quality service.
You will offer after-sales technical and commercial support.
You will be required to develop technical knowledge of highly engineered and automated coil processing and roll forming equipment (roll forming experience would be crucial).
This role requires experience or aptitude to develop knowledge in both mechanical and electrical engineering, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Your role would require you to assist and grow revenue by generating opportunities in the form of customer service and spare parts sales.
The role would also include Field Completion Services, managing all aspects of installations and start-ups of equipment globally, with first-class after sales support.

Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of businesses equipment and technology.
Liaise with all departments and other group companies as required on both new and existing projects and potential leads.
Directly accountable for overseeing day-to-day activities within the Customer Service and After Sales part of the business.
Growing the Customer Service part of the business, by providing first in class service response to new and existing customers, including but not limited to revenue related to spare parts, service and minor works, upgrades, refurbishments, etc.
Manage installations, start-ups and commissioning of company equipment, both domestically and internationally.
After Sales and Field Completion; taking the lead on ensuring open issues are logged, worked on, followed up with, updated and resolved in a timely manner and to the customers satisfaction.
Timely completion and submission of risk assessments, method statements, work reports, activity reports and all other documentation.
Look for potential opportunities when visiting customer sites, providing assistance to the sales department and other group companies for spare parts, service visits, upgrades, refurbishments and new equipment.
Offer feedback on future product development, features and function.
Provide regular updates to Management.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Proven experience with Coil Processing and/or Roll forming Equipment is required.
Proficiency in engineering design software, preferably Inventor and AutoCAD.
Proficiency in Microsoft Products.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

In this role you will be covering a UK wide patch, predominantly in Kent and Suffolk, travelling to customer sites where you will react to breakdowns and conduct installations of fermentation machinery. You will also spend 1-3 days in the workshop, testing and trialling the machinery before it is installed.
Founded over a decade ago, this company supply and service fermentation machines, used in breweries and wineries, and pride themselves on their high quality of work and customer satisfaction within their niche industry.
This role would suit a Service Engineer or similar, looking for market leading salaries and full in-house training, where they can rapidly progress to senior engineering positions.
