Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a small, dynamic team of engineers to develop advanced control systems and full vessel control systems for hybridisation, electrification and foiling flight control in the marine industry.
• Utilize Matlab Simulink as the primary tool for designing, modelling, and simulating control systems.
• Specify and select appropriate systems, sensors, and actuators for integration into control systems.

We are currently seeking a Production Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for providing an effective engineering and maintenance support to the manufacturing function. Successful applicants will take responsibility for the quality and effectiveness of maintenance engineering activities and will carry out planned and preventative maintenance of plant and equipment within the production areas to optimise plant availability. It takes approximately 18 months to complete the course and at the end of the course you will be a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Engineer with a City and Guilds accredited qualification. You will attend our in-house bespoke training centre in Kings Lynn, Norfolk at least once a month in week to 2-week long blocks. You will be provided with accommodation and meals during the time you spend at the training centre. Once you successfully complete your course you will be awarded your City and Guilds accredited certificates issued with an Adcock van and will continue to learn as you gain experience. What do you need to have? Basic skills requirement with a minimum of a level 5 © in English and Maths or have the required skills through acquired prior learning.
Must have own transport and able to get to and from the branch or meeting points.
Training is fully funded by Adcock, subject to a Training Funding Agreement.
Able to accommodate early starts and / or later finishes.
Able to work away should this be required.
A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
