We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join a well established digital solutions company based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.
£35,000 - £40,000 - hybrid working - Immediate start!

Daily responsibilities:
* Developing new features and enhancements for their platform
* Building modern frontend applications using Angular and React
* Contributing to backend development, using C#
* Working on bespoke development tasks for customer requirements and internal projects
* Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
* Creating unit tests and automated end-to-end tests
* Using source control to manage and maintain code effectively
* Working within an Agile environment and participating in team meetings
* Collaborating with engineers, designers, and product owners
* Contributing across the full software development lifecycle
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
* Frontend development experience through a commercial role
* Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
* Experience with a modern frontend framework (React/Angular preferred, but not essential)
* Good understanding of HTML and CSS / SCSS
* Willingness to learn backend development
* Ability to independently problem solve, but also the temperament to work collaboratively within a team
Desirable:
* Experience with React/Angular
* Experience with C# or backend development
* A relevant degree
* Full, clean driving licence
* Experience with agile development methodologies
