The role will have oversight of Transformation and Business Services functions, with specific responsibility for the strategic management of the following functions: • ICT Operations • The Council’s Cyber Security delivery • Scomis Business Unit The role will be required to operate at Director level across Transformation and Business Services, and across the wider organisation at a Strategic Leadership level, being able to seamlessly step into Director level working, acting as the Director as required to represent the service and the Council both internally and externally. The role will attend Strategic Leadership Team and Director level Boards on a regular basis, working closely with Cabinet, and attending to report to Committee meetings including Cabinet and Scrutiny. The job-holder will oversee connectivity and expertise within and between digital and ICT supporting operational delivery, modernisation and change supporting Council-wide strategic programmes of work across the Council. Working collaboratively with Strategic Leadership Team colleagues, the job-holder will provide collective organisation-wide leadership and direction to deliver against the strategic vision and priorities; and hold individual responsibility and accountability for one of the strategic plan priorities PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS INSIDE SCOPE OF IR35 HYBRID WORKING AVAILABLE
