Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Monitoring and Governance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of monitoring capabilities across Microsoft Fabric and Azure ecosystems. The role focuses on Microsoft Purview, Azure monitoring services, and unified observability across data platforms including Power BI.
You will act as a technical authority, guiding stakeholders on best practices for monitoring, compliance, data governance, and security within a complex enterprise environment.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Data Management Lead for a 9 month contract based in London (hybrid model, 3 days a week in the office).
Purpose of the role:
The Data Management Lead is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of data management practices, ensuring high data quality, governance and compliance across the organisation.
This role will focus on establishing robust data management frameworks for our client’s Enterprise Data Foundation and drive the implementation informed by use cases. The role will collaborate closely with data governance, engineering and business teams to enable data as a trusted asset.
