What does Leidos need from me?You will have experience in designing full end-to-end service solutions in large scale enterprise environments. Highly experienced and qualified in service management frameworks (ITIL, IT4IT) and their practical implementation. Experienced in large scale outsourcing bid responses, particularly government model contracts.The Service Architect must have:
Proven experience as a Service Architect, Service Designer, or Service Transition Lead within complex IT delivery environments.
Strong working knowledge of the ITIL framework (working towards or having achieved ITIL 4 Master).
Demonstrable experience in:
Designing and implementing service models within large programmes.
Agile delivery methods, particularly Scrum and SAFe, including active participation in ceremonies and backlog refinement.
Creating Service Design Packages and contributing to Operational Acceptance Criteria.
Creating compelling text for PQQ and bid activity.
Development of cost models for new business.
Excellent interpersonal skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

Engage with military stakeholders, engineering teams, partners and subcontractors to define and validate system architectures and technical roadmaps.
Review solutions to ensure compliance with military standards, safety, and security requirements (e.g., DEF STAN, STANAG, MIL-STD).
Support bid and proposal efforts by contributing to the shaping, solution development and associated governance of the solution architecture and supporting technical proposal and costing reviews.

What does Leidos need from me?
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
Maritime / Royal Navy / Military service experience
Extensive experience in solution or systems architecture within the defence and/or maritime domain.
Strong understanding of naval platforms (surface ships, submarines, UAVs/USVs, Strike Net, Tactical C4ISR) and their mission requirements.
Experience in technical governance/sign off and technical design authority roles
Understanding of maritime autonomy, technology, policies and strategy, able to use this to influence Leidos technical strategy and direction
Experience with C4ISR systems, weapon systems integration, or naval command systems.
Knowledge of combat management systems and the latest developments in the cross platform and multi service data sharing systems.
Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle (ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288), MBSE, and digital twin concepts.
Hands-on experience with architecture frameworks (e.g., MODAF, NAF, TOGAF) and tools (e.g., Sparx EA, Cameo).
Knowledge of cybersecurity, safety, and information assurance in defence systems.

DescriptionIT Solution ArchitectProgramme: LCST (Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation)Location: BristolRole Overview:As a IT Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading, designing and delivering complex end to end solutions using a multitude of applications and technologies within the supply chain management business domain.This role will assure that the solution architecture can meet the key project functional and non-functional requirements identified for the LCST programme.The IT Solution Architect will lead the solution development through all phases of the delivery lifecycle, from requirements capture, high level design, low level design, development into the release and solution sustainment phases.Duties and Responsibilities:You will provide support to the Head of Architect (including at times covering for on a temporary basis) on a variety of design decisions including:
Solution evaluation: buy vs. build vs reuse
Platform selection
Early-phase project estimates
Ensuring compliance with all design principles and architecture frameworks
Ensuring compliance with technical, security, customer and regulatory standards.
Supporting customer and stakeholder meetings and technical discussions.
Skills Required:
Previous experience as a Solution Architect on large complex customer projects
Production of cross domain (Business, Application Data, Infrastructure, Security) end to end architecture deliverables, such as proposal designs, high level designs and interface specifications
Experience in bespoke and COTS applications
Experience in integration concepts and technologies e.g. SOA, ESBs, EAI, XML, Web Services, MQ
Experience working with large scale, distributed event driven architectures.
Experience in cloud with AWS or similar
Experience in working collaboratively within a multi-supplier/vendor environment
Strong consulting, leading and mentoring skills along with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

Preparation of highway and drainage design with a working knowledge of UK design standards is needed, together with the ability to balance several projects and meet project timetables. We currently have a varied workload ranging from large scale logistics developments in the commercial sector and residential schemes of varying scales, from pre-planning through to construction so the candidate would need to show experience in highways, external works, flood risk and drainage at all stages for these types of projects.
Production of designs that can be incorporated to BIM Level 2 status would be beneficial, with the ability to undertake 3D coordination with the design team to ensure that internal project work can be released in IFC or similar format to the required site grid systems.
The successful candidate would be encouraged to manage projects, attend meetings and liaise with client, design team and third party representatives.
