The role:
We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias and a strong mechanical background to join the engineering team within a fast-paced poultry processing facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Respond promptly to breakdowns and carry out effective electrical and mechanical fault-finding
* Maintain and repair production machinery including conveyors, evisceration equipment, packing machinery and chillers

* Fault-find on PLC-controlled systems, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels (programming not required)
* Carry out mechanical tasks including work on gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic fabrication
* Ensure all work is completed in line with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards
* Accurately record maintenance activities using the site CMMS

Skills & Experience:

* Recognised electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds, or equivalent

* Good working knowledge of PLC fault-finding, motors, inverters, sensors, and control systems
* Experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics
