As part of the Renewables
Team, the Renewables Sales Negotiator will;
Negotiate directly with renewable energy generators and Third‑Party Intermediaries (TPIs) to secure competitive Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) in line with agreed commercial margins.
Prepare and deliver accurate, timely and commercially sound quotations to both direct customers and TPIs.
Drive strong customer retention while proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities through direct and indirect sales channels.
Build, develop and sustain effective relationships with developers, generators and TPIs to support long‑term business growth and collaboration.
Monitor competitor pricing, propositions and market activity, providing actionable insights and feedback to management.
Communicate market trends, pricing movements and product information clearly and confidently to customers and TPIs, supporting informed contracting decisions.
Work collaboratively with the wider sales team, operations and other internal stakeholders across DES to achieve shared commercial objectives.
Maintain an accurate and robust sales pipeline, delivering regular performance and forecasting updates to management.
