About the Anthro JV:

The Anthro joint venture between Egis and VVB Engineering will provide comprehensive turn-key services for London’s state-of-the-art HS2 gateway station at Old Oak Common. We have been awarded a multi-year contract to deliver MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical Public Health, Fire and Communications) systems works

Role Overview:

VVB are looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer, to be nominated and carry out the Network Rail Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM) role on the Old Oak Common project, covering the full Anthro scope of Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, Fire detection/suppression and Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be nominated and carry out the NR 02009 duties of the Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM) for the whole of the Old Oak Common MEPHFC scope.
    • Assessing and Mentoring CRE’s in all aspects of applicable Network Rail standards including Engineering Management for Projects NR/L2/INI/02009.
    • Using initiative and confidence to put forward solutions based on sound engineering principles.
    • Challenging the brief, enabling innovative development of unambiguous engineering solutions from feasibility through to detailed design
    • Design and checking of engineering solutions
    • Production and/or review of clear, consistent, referenced calculations, reports and sketches to current CoP and Standards
    • Clear communication of design philosophy and requirements with other team members

The Ground Engineering business unit Director is a senior role that will report directly to the Executive Director for Infrastructure. The opportunity:

We are working on a transformation programme to move from its current SAP ECC6 systems to SAP S/4HANA across the MBDA Group, with Greenfield methodology. This strategy will impact a number of domain areas and the implementation of S/4HANA will provide an opportunity for each domain to review its use of existing tools and determine a roadmap for consolidation across the Group and deliver the best-in-class tools for our business users.

This role will focus on Procurement and you will support maintenance activities as well as supporting the related SAP S/4 modules. This role falls within the Digital Solutions (DS) area of MBDA; part of Digital Excellence (DEx), the DS team focusses on delivering IT solutions that are used to support the business in a variety of domains.

Main responsibilities:

Project management:

  • IT responsibility for the successful implementation of our current S/4HANA Procurement modules for MBDA UK.

What You ll Be Doing

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Contribute to and shape the product roadmap for Hoptroff s precision timing solutions.
  • Identify opportunities across NTP/PTP delivery, time orchestration and SaaS platform services.
  • Monitor market, regulatory and technology developments to keep Hoptroff ahead of the curve.

Product Execution & Delivery

  • Own the full product lifecycle: discovery, requirements, design input, testing, release and iteration.
  • Translate customer and stakeholder needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
  • Plan and track product releases against milestones, monitoring adoption and performance indicators.
  • Maintain clear, accessible product documentation across the organisation.

Customer & Market Insight

  • Engage with customers, partners and prospects to validate requirements and gather product feedback.
  • Advocate internally for the customer, ensuring product decisions maximise value and ease of adoption.
  • Attend relevant events and conferences to deepen market and stakeholder understanding.

What We re Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager within a technology environment (SaaS, infrastructure, networking or enterprise software).
  • Skilled with the Atlassian suite of tools
  • Track record of contributing to the development and delivery of software or platform-based products.
  • Ability to translate customer needs and technical concepts into clear, actionable product requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced scale-up.
  • Comfortable working with engineering teams and technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communicator - able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable:

  • Background in fintech, telecommunications, cloud platforms or enterprise software.
  • Interest in time synchronisation, distributed systems, networking or infrastructure technology.

This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role that requires working closely with multipleenterprise and domain architects, Salesforce Professional Services, and delivery teams to define, align, and get approval for solution architectures across systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own end-to-end solution architecture across Salesforce, Data Cloud, and connected enterprise systems
  • Analyze existing client architecture and design target-state architecture aligned to prioritized use cases
  • Create architecture diagrams (logical, physical, integration flows) and document solution designs
  • Design and govern API integrations, middleware interactions, and cross-system data flows
  • Act as the primary onsite liaison with multiple client enterprise and domain architects to align and finalize solution approaches

About the Role
