Overview We are looking for a dynamic professional to join the team to lead Technical Facility Services to support and deliver a portfolio of sustainability Building & Construction projects. You will be responsible for the technical delivery, governance, operations, and maintenance of all on site projects, work space and infrastructure changes alongside the construction of new buildings and infrastructure refurbishments. This includes supporting the delivery of a portfolio of projects >30M€ yearly to achieve operational, strategic, sustainability, and _workplace of the future_ objectives.
How You Will Contribute Strategy & Leadership for
? Portfolio Leadership: Across all projects ensure the project delivery is aligned to technical standards and specifications (electrical, mechanical, and building fabric) at each stage. Act as a key member and interface for the technical service team in the Multi-Functional Teams (MFTs) to establish, plan, and lead the successful delivery of technical requirements for all site project portfolios (>50M€). Ensure adherence at each gate with clear governance that supports delivery aligned to time, cost, and quality objectives.
? Facility Maintenance: Provide technical leadership for all projects ensuring alignment to the ongoing maintenance of facilities, infrastructure, and technical equipment (mechanical & electrical) to ensure a safe working environment and business continuity
? Project Delivery: Lead site development strategies, including new construction and the reconfiguration of existing assets, to directly support production ramp-ups and operational requirements. Ensuring the delivery of technical specifications and solutions to ensure delivery of strategic projects
? Systems: Ensure all projects are linked to and updated within the CMMS / CAFM tools
? Supplier Governance: Manage suppliers and govern partner relationships through Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
? Customer Relationships: Ensure good relationships with internal customers, understanding and anticipating business needs through active demand management

About You
? Leadership: Experience in leading a technical team of engineers, and managing partners/subcontractors
? Project Management: Project management fundamentals with experience in technical maintenance and the construction industry with leadership on high-profile, large-scale portfolio projects
? Define: document a clear technical strategy and policy for all maintenance activities (i. Electrical, Mechanical, Fire, Fabric, Cranes) ensuring continuous improvement through data analysis is delivered through the project portfolio
? Technical Knowledge: Electrical / mechanical with a preference for electrical including networks and HV/LV assets and with proficiency in Google Suite and construction management tools
Develop:
Continue to develop the FMRE technical specifications and create a catalogue of standards for all technical deliverables for deployment across all UK sites
? Regulatory: Knowledge of Building and Maintenance regulations and facility maintenance/operations management. (SFG standards)
Financial: Understanding of financial management, operation and investment budgets, and resource control for strategic portfolios
Sustainability: Demonstrate a clear understanding of fundamental sustainability concepts and their application in an industrial context
