The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
Qualified in Mechanical Engineering (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) or be QBE from working in a similar technical role
Experience of cleanrooms, laboratories, healthcare environments is a bonus
Previous experience working within project engineering and also R&D
Be able carry out mechanical design and read engineering drawings
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
Have previous experience working within a similar manufacturing environment
Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
Be flexible to travel as required
The Project Manager role will involve:
Managing a team working on the company’s product range; the new product introduction process

What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will take technical ownership of electrical engineering activities across assigned vehicle programmes, ensuring system designs meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability.
You will lead the development and integration of electrical architectures, wiring systems, and vehicle electronic subsystems, guiding engineering solutions from concept through design, validation, and production readiness. This includes ensuring that systems are robust, manufacturable, and capable of supporting long-term operational requirements in demanding environments.
Working closely with the Chief Engineer, Project Managers, Design Office and cross-functional teams, you will support prototype development, testing, and qualification activities while resolving technical challenges and managing engineering change.
