Education

• Trained/qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Engineering Technician status desirable.
• 5 years of experience working within a relevant engineering discipline e.g. mechanical technician.

Experience & Skills

• Mechanical Engineering background.
• Experience in the Chemical and /or Oil & Gas sectors
• Understanding of engineering principals.
• EEMUA / API / NDT qualification/experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Eye for detail.
• Meeting tight deadlines
• Good interpersonal skills, and the capability to work independently.
• Appreciation of pressure equipment
• Experience / appreciation of non-destructive examination techniques (NDT)

Coordinate Hypercare Activities: Manage and coordinate hypercare activities with impacted teams, ensuring effective verification, stabilization, incident resolution, and communication. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Solution Architect or Implementation Lead in large-scale technology deployments. Expertise in developing and executing detailed cutover runbooks for mission-critical systems. Deep understanding of system integration, infrastructure readiness, and network configuration in Operational Technology (OT) environments. Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements and operational risk management for Critical National Infrastructure (CNI). Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and coordination skills under pressure. Strong communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively. Preferred Qualifications/Experience: Experience with SCADA platforms. Knowledge of CNI cutover and industrial control systems. Strong understanding of industrial automation and CNI architecture. Qualifications: Degree level or equivalent experience as a Technical Solution Architect or Implementation Lead in a large-scale technology deployment or transformation program.
