What will I be doing?

  • Participate in internal and external security compliance audits.

  • The role requires travel through the UK 25% of the time

Essential skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a Security Management or Protective Security roles.
  • Knowledge and experience of National Protective Security Authority, HMG, Ministry of Defence and Defence and Equipment Support Principal Security Advisor compliance and accreditation standards for Industry.
  • Good presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.

Overall core responsibilities & requirements of the role:

  • Deep knowledge of switchgear design, power distribution, and mechanical/electrical components.

  • Acting as a trusted advisor, translating complex client requirements into technical solutions (Pre-sales, proposals).

  • Design and development of MV arrangements/components in compliance with specifications, IEC/IEEE requirements, and applicable standards.

  • Detailed analysis of MV arrangements/components, focusing on performance evaluation, design optimization, component selection and sizing, and control strategy.

  • Collaboration in an interdisciplinary engineering environment (with embedded, test, and mechanical engineers) to define requirements, participate in design verification, and ensure successful integration of MV option designs.

  • Continuous improvement of existing designs, evaluation of application issues, and resolution of those issues in the design of new products.

  • Evaluation of recent technologies to enhance and implement current MV product range.

  • Adherence to agreed project timelines.

  • Preparation of technical reports.

  • Communicate effectively with the customer and maintain a high customer satisfaction level.

  • Advise any (discrepancy) differences to sales estimator to coordinate.

  • Adhere to H&S guidelines and policy of the company while in the factory and at site.

  • Collaborate closely with Estimating colleagues to cost new MV options.

  • Collaborate closely with CAD colleagues produce pre-engineering designs for new MV options.

  • Ensure new options are installed during production and are commissioned to achieve the desired operational results.

  • Attend site meetings & supplier facilities when necessary.

Qualifications

Required/ Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.

  • Minimum 4-7 years’ experience.

  • Proficiency in medium voltage switchgear & principles of power distribution.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Firsthand experience with MV switchgear.

  • Knowledge of MV protection relay operations.

  • Strong analytical skills combined with excellent problem-solving abilities and interpersonal communication.

We are recruiting for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join an established cyber security function on a 3-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting into the Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager, you will play a key role in delivering and enhancing the organisation s Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) capability, supporting the wider vision of a threat-informed cyber security operations model. With new vulnerabilities and adversarial activity emerging daily, this role is critical in ensuring intelligence is accurate, timely, and actionable.

This is not a developmental role, we are looking for someone who can step in quickly, operate with minimal supervision, and add value from day one.

The Role

You will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and producing intelligence across tactical, operational, and strategic domains, ensuring the security function operates from an intelligence-led, proactive position rather than a reactive one.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering Cyber Threat Intelligence services aligned to recognised best practice and industry standards
  • Monitoring changes in the global threat landscape that may impact the organisation and its customers
  • Analysing threat data from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends, gaps, and emerging risks
  • Producing clear, concise, and actionable intelligence products for technical and senior stakeholders
  • Tracking relevant threat actors and adversarial groups, including their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
  • Maintaining and managing a cyber threat intelligence reference library
  • Promoting a culture of threat-informed security across the CISO function
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, championing the value of intelligence-led security
  • Working with third-party intelligence providers to ensure effective delivery of external threat services
  • Evaluating current security controls against known threat actors using frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and CIS Controls
  • Supporting threat intelligence-led security testing initiatives, including red and purple teaming exercises
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of the CTI capability

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence analysis
  • Ability to work autonomously within a short-term contract environment and deliver measurable outcomes quickly
  • Strong understanding of threat actor behaviours, TTPs, and global threat trends
  • Experience working with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and CIS
  • Ability to analyse large datasets and translate findings into meaningful intelligence outputs
  • Experience producing intelligence reports across tactical, operational, and strategic levels
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills
  • Exposure to red/purple teaming or intelligence-driven testing initiatives is desirable
