Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our central government client, who is seeking a Senior M365 Engineer for an initial six-month assignment with the option to extend.

Location: Hybrid working - Milton Keynes

The ideal candidate will hold an active security clearance and possess a strong background in Digital Workspace MS 365 Applications & Operations engineering, with the following skills and experience:

Demonstrated experience in providing third-line support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, Defender, SharePoint, and Entra.

Technical expertise in various software applications such as Intune, Power Platform (including Power Apps and Power BI), PowerShell scripting, and Purview Security.

Solid practitioner-level knowledge of both hardware and software.

A proven ability to develop clear and comprehensive technical and functional documentation.

Familiarity with navigating public sector or defence secure environments effectively.

Agile and ITIL Foundation level certification or equivalent

Possession of a Microsoft role-based certification is highly advantageous.

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join their specialist security team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of clients and environments, applying your technical expertise to enhance security operations, tooling, and compliance.

You will play a key role in managing incidents, optimising security tools, and mentoring junior analysts, while contributing to the continuous improvement of their security posture.

As Cyber Security Analyst, you will:

Lead cyber incident investigations with SOC and client teams

Solid understanding of enterprise security operations and tooling.

Experience in a technical cyber security role.

Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Security Stack and other leading security tools.

Familiarity with network and application firewalls.

Working knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, SOC2, and Cyber Essentials Plus.

Experience with Privileged Access Management tools (e.g., CyberArk, Entra, SailPoint).

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new security tools and technologies.

My Customer is seeking a highly skilled Telephony Engineer with Strong experience with Microsoft Teams to lead and support the migration of their contact centre from Unity to Microsoft Teams.
