We’re looking for an experienced ERP Specialist with strong Epicor expertise to join a growing business in a pivotal role.

About The role:

About the role
We’re on the lookout for someone enthusiastic to join our IT Branch Systems team at Booker. If you’re great with technology and enjoy helping people, this could be the role for you.
Day to day, you’ll be supporting our Business Centres by keeping IT systems running smoothly. That means spotting and solving any issues with our branch software or hardware, so colleagues can get on with their work and our customers stay happy.
You’ll need a good general knowledge of IT, an interest in tech support, and strong communication skills - being able to explain things clearly is just as important as fixing them.
The role is mainly Monday to Friday during office hours, but now and then you might need to help out at weekends or take part in our on-call rota when needed.
You will be responsible for
Providing support to your IS Manager.
Maintain and manage relevant documentation.
Ensure that the Technical Support call queue is kept within a manageable size.
Ensure all documentation, including asset register is kept updated in conjunction with other teams and 3rd party provider
You will need
Previous experience in an IT Support role is beneficial but not essential if the candidate can show a willingness to learn and develop
Good understanding of Retail IT hardware and software.
An understanding of MIDAS (Booker’s stock and sales system) is an advantage but not compulsory.

Data Cabling Installations Engineer - Retail Projects
Looking for an experienced Field Engineer to join a growing UK wide team who undertake new openings projects, moves and changes work for IT and EPOS systems within mostly retail environments across the UK.
This role is to mostly cover projects around the Central England area, ideally we are looking for an Engineer in the NN postcode area.
Applicants for this role must be flexible, as if there is no work locally, you will travel to support other areas. This may include occasional overnight stays.
Standard hours are 40 hours per week, with all are hours paid including travel time, so there is plenty of overtime potential. Premium rates of x1.5 for all additional hours.
Work is scheduled mostly Mon - Friday, with occasional weekends.
