About the role:

Day to day you’ll support the process by providing timely repairs to breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance activities including instrumentation calibrations. You’ll ensure that all work is managed and recorded correctly to maintain compliance, inspiring safe ways of working across the site, setting a high standard of EC&I engineering activity, and supporting in rolling out new processes, systems, and ways of working to your colleagues on site.

You’ll be joining a tight knit, dedicated team based on site, who are also part of a larger group with a wide support network.

Who we’re looking for:

You’ll need to have experience in solving problems and being a strong communicator to be able to persuade and influence others.
You should be educated to at least ONC level in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering and should have served a recognised Apprenticeship.

Specifically, you’ll need plant experience in the maintenance, repair and installation of electrical equipment, including but not restricted to, 3 phase motors and associated switchgear, variable speed drives, soft starts, circuit breakers, motor control centres and 3 phase and single-phase distribution systems.

You’ll be able interpret schematic drawings, single line diagrams and PLC ladder logic.

Ideally, you’ll also have process plant experience in the maintenance, repair, installation and calibration of plant instrumentation and control systems including, but not restricted to, systems for the measurement of temperature, pressure, level, flow, oxygen, and ph.

As a workshop-based HGV Technician you will work within a busy depot as part of a team to inspect, repair and maintain our HGV and light commercial vehicles. In this role we look for people with an enthusiastic, pro-active approach and the relevant qualifications or experience in the associated industries. Responsibilities include: -

  • Support the Workshop Service Manager in the effective running of the Depot workshop within the region.
  • Carry out pre-delivery roadworthiness inspections (PDI) of machines at depot as required, and in conformance with manufacturer’s specification, company policy and the regulations affecting the use. Ensure that there is no deficiency or defect likely to affect the safe working of a machine. Notify workshop service manager of any defective or unsafe equipment.
  • Repair machines at depot to ensure conformance with manufactures specification and company policy.
  • To complete planned preventative maintenance activities (PPM) including maintaining the appearance of the fleet to corporate standard.
  • Handover machines to customers and familiarise customers with safe machine operation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company, providing a high standard of customer care and being polite and professional always. Relay appropriate customer queries to depot staff as required.
  • Accurately complete all relevant paperwork including engineer’s report, off hire, pre/delivery inspection and service sheets.
  • Update system on machine status change i.e. PDI carried out, machine under repair, statutory Inspection completed.
  • Prepare vehicles (and trailers where applicable) for MOT test.

About you: -

  • Relevant HGV general maintenance qualification to level 2, and proven experience servicing and prepping vehicles to MOT standard.
  • Have a mature outlook and the ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Understand the importance of compliance with statutory and company own policy service/inspection schedules relating to roadworthiness.
  • HGV licence would be an advantage.

We are seeking a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Programmable Electronic Systems (PES) to lead the delivery of Operational Technology and PES elements across a diverse projects portfolio. This is a pivotal role for candidates with proven expertise in the full PES lifecycle, from concept to handover, within a regulated, quality-assured environment.

Role Overview

As the PES SME, you will:

  • Lead all aspects of PES delivery across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 15288 and tailored processes, standards, and guides.
  • Act as the key CE&I technical authority for PES.
  • Functionally report to the Senior / Responsible Engineer on each project.

Stakeholder & Project Integration

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Delivery experience in line with ISO/IEC 15288 or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with industrial cyber security standards (e.g., BS 62443) and V-Model PES processes.
  • Experience managing stakeholders, PES deliverables, and personnel across the full PES lifecycle.
  • Experience within regulated, quality-assured industries.
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
  • Professional registration (minimum IEng) with a relevant institute (e.g., IET, IoP, InstMC).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills.
