The role
The Senior HVAC Engineer will lead the design, integration, and technical assurance of numerous HVAC systems across a complex marine platform.
Duties
* Preparing specifications and developing HVAC system designs in accordance with project requirements, technical standards, and quality expectations. This includes Heat Load Calculations, Psychrometrics, Pressure Drop Calculations and Single Line Diagrams (schematics).
* Carry out design appraisals in assigned areas to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and design criteria.
* Participating in the development, maintenance, and modification of engineering processes and procedures relating to HVAC distribution systems, ensuring they remain aligned with technical developments, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.
Experience
* Experience in engineering or a defence related industry.
* Has worked in typically two phases of the product lifecycle in the defence/maritime industry.
