Summary:

This role involves designing and overseeing the implementation of protection schemes, control systems, and related equipment to ensure the safe and reliable operation of power networks, substations, and Transmissions and Distribution electrical infrastructure.

Position requires technical expertise and vast experience working in Transmission and Distribution sector for protection & control and Substation Automation system/SCADA design (from 11kV up to 400kV). Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Candidate is responsible to develop protection settings, relay PSL files, coordination studies, including fault detection and isolation strategies.

The Role

Requires strong knowledge and design / practical experience in drinking water treatment process and principles - conventional and advanced treatment technologies.
Practical knowledge of current design codes and standards as well as industry best practices, including CDM Regulations.

Experience in design and delivery of projects with adherence to UK safety and environmental regulations, process safety techniques (e.g. HAZOP), knowledge of capital and operational costs - and risk assessments, as well as whole life carbon assessments.

We are working with an established precision engineeringmanufacturer to bolster their manufacturing team following recent growth. As CNC Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the NPI, optimization, and continuous improvement of CNC machining processes.

Salary & Hours:c£40,000 to £45,000 per annum as a guide. 8:00am to 4:45pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 12:00pm Friday 37 hours.

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Gas Engineer to deliver commercial gas, heating, combustion, and HVAC maintenance across a range of client sites within the designated region.

You will play a key role in ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operation of critical building services systems while providing exceptional levels of service.

Job Description

We are looking for a professional with strong technical capability across commercial combustion, heating, and general building services, with proven experience in both planned and reactive environments.

The role offers long-term stability on secure government contracts, structured working hours, and a predictable workload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC PPM, proactive work, and reactive maintenance within agreed timeframes.
  • Carry out general building services maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, and fabric tasks.
  • Provide out-of-hours callout support in line with the client rota, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Undertake major and minor repair works to commercial and domestic gas and heating systems.
  • Complete new installations of heating and gas systems to relevant standards.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on plant and systems, including basic electrical fault-finding.
  • Maintain clean, organised, and compliant plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas.
  • Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded on all assigned tasks.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Skills & Experience Required

  • Significant experience in commercial gas, combustion, heating, and building services maintenance.
  • Strong background in PPM, reactive maintenance, fault finding, servicing, and installation work.
  • Proven experience in Facilities Management or building services within commercial property settings.
