Product Testers are wanted to work from home in the UK to fulfill upcoming contracts with local and international companies. We guarantee 15-25 hours per week with an hourly pay of between £18 / hr. and £32 / hr., depending on the In-Home Usage Test project. No experience required.

There is no payment required in order to apply or to work as an In-Home Usage Tester. You don’t have to buy products or pay for shipping, everything is paid by our company. In-Home Usage Testers are considered independent contractors, we pay weekly every Wednesday by direct deposit or by check.

UK Product Testers is a consulting firm that specializes in product testing and product development work. We design and conduct In-Home Usage Testing (IHUT) in the UK and on the international stage. Main Duties :

Properly document In-Home Usage Tests as instructed in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule (screenshots, audio recordings, videos, product journal entries, etc.)

Take care of the product being tested and use it responsibly
Read and strictly follow the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule provided with each product testing project (may include tasks such as unpacking, reading instructions, journal entries, online or mobile feedback, usage of product for a c

ertain amount of time, writing reviews, taking pictures, etc.)
Some In-Home Usage Tests projects may require participants to use MFour’s Mobile In-Home Use Test Technology (cutting-edge smartphone technology to capture Point-of-Emotion® insights to gain unparalleled depth of responses)

There are times when the product being tested may be discussed in a private chat room that is opened by a market research firm
Write reviews as requested in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule for each project

-Work within project time constraints, identifying and communicating without delay any potential risks to the project delivery dates.

-FIA qualifications are beneficial but not essential, but a full understanding of BS5839 is essential.

-Undertake any relevant training as required.

-Secondment to the Service Department as required by the business or on to any other projects as required.

Required Skills -

The ideal candidate should have:

A proven background and experience of Intruder, CCTV, Fire Alarms, Access Control, Door Entry and DDA systems.
Network/IP based product experience is beneficial.
FIA qualifications are beneficial but not essential however a full understanding of BS5839 is essential.
Knowledge of integration of detection systems into other disciplines would be a real advantage.
Good communication skills are required as the majority of the role will involve being in a customer facing environment.
The ability to work alone and effectively organise your time.
A good understanding of the Standards which relate to our Industry and the systems we install is required.
A good understanding of Health and Safety is essential.
A full driving licence and a willingness to travel to locations across the country.
Be prepared to work away with overnight stays when required, this will however be kept to a minimum.

Main Duties:

To provide regular foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client’s property and assets.
To effectively control the access to the client’s premises, examining documentation to ascertain the authenticity and authority to gain access.
Where provided to provide monitoring functions to CCTV and alarm functions. To be aware of the operation of those functions and to respond as required.
