About You

Our client is looking for a Senior Support Engineer who thrives on solving real customer problems through hands-on technical work. You’ll sit at the intersection of their support, engineering, and data migration teams – a true technical generalist who enjoys variety.

This is a great fit for a strong Developer who wants to take full ownership of debugging, fixing, and enhancing real-world product issues that impact doctors and patients.

You’ll work on:

  • Investigating and resolving bugs or issues raised by our client’s team of Customer Support Specialists.
  • Making small-to-medium feature tweaks (e.g. modifying exports, adjusting logic).
  • Writing Ruby scripts and jobs for post-migration data cleanup or updates.

Role profile:

We are looking for a talented and passionate Senior Lead Java Engineer to join the SwapClear Interfaces development team, part of the SwapClear Technology function supporting the LCH Swap Clearing business. The team is responsible for the designing, building, and supporting critical interfaces and systems that facilitate the clearing operations.

This Senior Lead Java Engineer role will focus on leading the team in designing, building and maintaining Java-based applications and their related systems that are critical to the SwapClear Clearing operations.

You will be worked in scrum team and work collaboratively within an Agile environment to ensure the smooth execution of the software development lifecycle, from planning and development to deployment and support. You will work with the SwapClear Interface development Team Lead while actively contributing to the delivery of high-quality solutions.

The successful candidate needs to be hands-on, with a strong and deep understanding of Java plus the knowledge of the front-end and cloud development, and a proactive approach in all aspects of development. You will also be expected to make contributions to testing, ensure the solutions meet high standards for quality and reliability.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Take ownership of the analysis, design, develop and delivery of scalable and maintainable Java based applications
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to algin technology solutions with business needs
  • Lead by example with high quality, clean code using modern Java, Spring and related technologies, promote best practices in software engineering
  • Take responsibility for identification, estimation and reporting on progress of tasks, along with liaising across the business analyst, developer and continuous integration teams
  • Contribute to test automation and participate in test case design and execution
  • Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, provide timely fixes including participation in out-of-hours support rota
  • Document technical specifications, workflow and system design
  • Work within an Agile/Scrum team, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives

  • Proven experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability using Java

The Applications Development Technology lead analyst is a mid-level position responsible for hands- on implementation of AI driven test automation inclusive of CICD and modern techniques in testing. The overall objective of this role is to ensure quality delivery of applications through AI driven functional and automation testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Takes ownership of tasks assigned and reports to senior management appropriately at regular agreed intervals.
  • Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks that support efficient test execution and maintenance.
  • Write, execute and run functional/automated test cases using AI driven frameworks regularly and analyze test results, logging any defects and providing detailed reports.
  • Perform in API/ database testing.
  • Work closely with development, manual QA, and product teams to understand requirements, features, and testing needs in Agile environments.

Technology Skills:

  • Maintaining the manual & automated test suites and enhance it as the product matures
  • Extensive experience with automation in tools like Cypress/Javascript,Selenium and BDD such as cucumber.
  • Foster a spirit of innovation and collaboration regarding Quality Assurance.
  • Collaborate and partner closely with program managers, development leads, test leads and production support teams to ensure that software is tested to highest quality.
  • Explore, test, and configure not just technical flows but actual business transaction and provide deep insights

Qualifications:
