As Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing product quality through data analysis, customer support, and inspection coordination. You will work closely with customer service, production, and quality teams to ensure compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement across all processes. Responsibilities include gathering and analysing quality data to identify trends and escalate recurring issues, assisting in the preparation of internal and customer-facing quality reports and providing initial quality support to customer service teams. You will be investigating non-conformances and conducting root cause analysis, coordinating corrective actions and liaising with production to resolve customer issues, performing stock checks and tracking returned items for inspection and monitoring special attention orders to ensure customer specifications are met.You will also be supporting quality audits and ensuring timely closure of customer NCRs.

What you’ll need to succeed

Ideally you will have proven experience in a quality-focused role within a manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, ability to collaborate effectively across departments and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and report writing. It would be particularly good if you have experience in a manufacturing facility and have familiarity with quality inspection tools or visual inspection systems and knowledge of continuous improvement or lean methodologies.
