Senior Developer , you will design, build, and scale an AI Operations platform supporting Sky and NBCUniversal. You will focus on alert ingestion, correlation, and intelligent automation using full-stack development, machine learning, and Generative AI (GenAI).

What you’ll do

Design, build and maintain full-stack software solutions using Golang and Python, spanning services, APIs and automation components Contribute to the architecture and evolution of Sky’s AI Operations platform, shaping intelligent automation and large-scale operational workflows Develop and operate cloud-native systems on AWS, including automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines and environment validation Build reliable alerting, correlation and automation capabilities that support high-scale streaming and live service environments Produce high-quality technical documentation, covering design decisions, configuration, deployment processes and operational runbooks Collaborate closely with engineers, product teams and operational stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable and observable systems Troubleshoot complex distributed systems, identifying root causes and driving continuous improvement across the platform Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions and technical guidance, supporting a culture of engineering excellence What you’ll bring

Strong experience in software engineering within cloud or platform environments, ideally with exposure to IaC, observability and automation tooling Proficiency with

Stage 1 Learn HTML and CSS ( up to 12 weeks)

The first step is completing a selection of professional and industry-recognised courses. We have carefully selected these courses to give you the most out of both your learning and employment journey.

HTML Essentials ( up to 6 weeks)

Training is delivered through multimedia rich video tutorials, presentations and quizzes using an online portal enabling you to study online from anywhere you choose. You will also be assigned an expert tutor and a support mentor who will work with you 1-2-1 or in group sessions to provide additional training and support.

Once the HTML & CSS courses are complete, your trainer will move you forward to the next stage.

Stage 2 Additional Online Training ( up to 12 weeks)

The second step includes a selection of more advanced courses to get you up to speed for what is required and relevant for many entry level programming roles and help you get a step ahead.

Python is a highly versatile programming language and due to its relatively easy to understand commands now one of the most common programming languages used. You can use it for both small and complex tasks, and it is used across many different industries broadening your scope of opportunity.

Step 3 - Building a Portfolio Website Project (1 week)

Your tutor will provide you with some exercises and guidelines to help you build your own personalised portfolio. Having a strong portfolio to which demonstrates and showcases your range of skills and ability is essential within a programming career.

In addition, we will now provide additional Study Courses for your continued development and broadening of your skills. Completion of these course is voluntary but recommended.
