The Role
As a Senior Maintenance Engineer you will:
On a shift you will be joining a Shift Manager, a fellow Senior Engineer, 8 Maintenance Engineers, 3 apprentices and a couple of jam busters
Your responsibilities will include: Electrical and Mechanical fault finding, Reactive and PPM work and many more
Working with Maintenance Engineers, Juniors and an apprentice on a shift and covering shift management etc
The site is looking to introduce more use of the CMMS system as it starts to develop with all the new machinery
Working on this site you will be working on Various conveyor systems, shuttle systems, Packaging equipment, Bagging Machines and more

The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer you will:
Be joining a shift team of 10 engineers including, SMEs and Shift Managers who don’t shy away from a challenge and supporting the team and helping development of their team
Be responsible for Electrical and Mechanical fault finding on fully automated systems, Following PPMs using the companies CMMS system following the recent installation of the software as a huge part of their long-term development of the site
React to any breakdowns during the shift and be an essential part of engineering problems out and ensuring they don’t happen again
Be working on over £200 million worth of automated machinery and some high-tech equipment including various conveyor systems, ASRS systems, Packaging equipment just to name a few!

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading international manufacturing organisation based in the Arnold area of Nottingham.
This role offers £49,500 basic salary, pension match of up to 10%, performance bonus of 5% and overtime is also available at a premium (x1.5 and x2).
The shift pattern for this Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role is 4 on 4 off, 6-6 days and nights.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer include:
Providing plant wide PPM and reactive maintenance service, departmental support and mechanical repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained.
Monitor & supply Engineering support of machine set-up & changeovers to ensure that the product conforms to any quality assurance standards and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible.Required Experience and Qualifications of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, Level 3 NVQ and BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, City and Guilds Mechanical Engineering Level 3 etc.
Pneumatics, hydraulics skills
Welding skills would be an advantage but not essential
High degree of Health & Safety awareness
Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to problems.
