Key aspects of the Electrical Engineer position include

  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with Local Authorities and other external bodies such as the EA and UU. To progress and secure relevant approvals to facilitate development.
  • Progress adoption for roads and sewers on closed legacy developments to reduce the business’s bond limit with the NHBC. This will involve tendering and appointing works to contractors and ensuring work is completed to the necessary adoptable standards and within budget.

Senior Engineer requirements

  • Experience in a similar Engineering role in the housebuilding sector.
  • Qualified to HNC/Degree level or equivalent, preferably in Civil Engineering.
  • Be knowledgeable in the latest engineering regulatory requirements in housebuilding.
  • Excellent attention to detail particularly when reviewing and approving technical documentation.
