In this role, you will carry out major repair and refurbishment work to modernise or replace customer equipment across a wide range of lift systems. This includes the refurbishment and repair of industrial lifts, ensuring all assets are restored to a high standard of safety, reliability and performance.
You’ll work on complex mechanical and electrical components, diagnose faults, implement effective repair solutions and support the ongoing improvement of customer equipment.
This job is to cover out Major repairs across Stannah’s lift portfolio in the Bristol, and surrounding areas .
Working hours will be: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:45 and Friday 08:00 - 15:45

As our Engineer, you’ll be working as part of a sizable national refrigeration service and install team (over 20 Engineers), usually covering the area in between Stoke - Warrington. You know you will be home every night and that’s important to you.
On rare occasions you may be asked to help further afield to cover holiday/sickness, but only in extreme circumstances. There is paid overtime.
No two days will be the same, you will support on installation, planned service and fault-finding reactive diagnostics work covering controllers, refrigeration circuits, cooling issues, PLC updates, valves and calibration work - so there will be plenty of variety for you.
You will be managed by an experienced hands-on service manager who joined the business as an apprentice and is now leading the engineering team.

Test Engineer – Electronics (Defence)
Rate: £25.31–£27.54 PAYE £34–£37 Umbrella
On behalf of our client, Morson are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to provide technical support to the manufacture and development testing of complex weapons sub-systems. This role supports products from early design through production readiness, working hands-on with electrical/electronic systems and test facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide test engineering support across development and production phases
• Support introduction and configuration control of test facilities and equipment
• Diagnose production test failures down to circuit card/component level
• Identify and implement corrective and remedial actions to maintain production schedules
• Produce test specifications, operator instructions and technical reports
• Represent Test Engineering at Defect Review Board meetings
Skills & Experience Required:
• HNC/HND in Electronics (or equivalent)
• Strong experience in digital and analogue electronics manufacture and test
• Good understanding of measurement and test principles and equipment
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
• Eligibility for SC (Secret) UK Security Clearance
