Your expertise will be essential in delivering technical solutions that enhance both environmental responsibility and engineering excellence, ensuring each project contributes meaningfully to the legacy of the built environment.Location:London City CentreSalary:£40,000 - £45,000 (depending on the experience)The purpose of the Role:This position, based in a London office, requires working as an intermediate electrical engineer within a multidisciplinary MEP team, focusing on designing and implementing electrical services for diverse projects. Responsibilities cover every project phase from RIBA Stage 0 (Strategic Definition) through Stage 7 (In Use). The teams goal is to create innovative, sustainable solutions that meet client needs and are seamlessly integrated with architecture and structure.You will be expected to build upon your initial professional development, augmenting your knowledge with new learning to deliver electrical designs on projects. As part of your ongoing development, youll also participate in site monitoring, client and design team meetings, and the initial training and support of graduate engineers. Intermediate Engineers will work under the guidance of Senior or Principal Engineers.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions for sustainable buildings.Prepare detailed designs, calculations, specifications, and reports for electrical building services, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.Participate in all project stages, with particular responsibility for the soundness and integration of electrical services.Conduct site visits, contributing to quality assurance and resolving technical issues during construction and commissioning.Engage in design team and client meetings, presenting technical solutions and progress effectively.Assist with the initial training and support of graduate engineers, contributing to a collaborative and learning-focused environment.Continue developing technical and professional knowledge, both independently and through structured learning opportunities.Essential Skills and Experience:You are a creative and practical engineer, motivated by the ambition to make a real impact through your work.
