We’re looking for a CAD Designer to join our team in Milton Keynes and help us bring retail spaces to life. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Design Manager and project teams to create, refine, and maintain the drawings and models that shape our network. Testing of electrical systems including, Earth Bonding Testing, Insulation Resistance Testing, Voltage Tests and Continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using calibrated test devices to ensure, integrity, compatibility, and safety of system.
Powering up of machines following Build and/or installation including I/O Checks and Motor checks ready to handover to the Software and Commissioning teams
Working with and supporting the Software and Commissioning teams during the test phase assisting where necessary correcting any issues that may arise.
Working with, installing, and maintaining safety critical control systems and associated interlocks, e-stop circuits, pull wire systems, etc.
Electrical Engineer/ Industrial Electrician
Requirements
Electrical apprenticeship (NVQ level 3) as a minimum - you must be Electrically qualified from a base line skills perspective
Could be straight out of an Apprenticeship or have years’ experience in industry
Flexibility in general as some travelling may be required to global customer sites with this role (few trips per year)
Must have an excellent attitude and willingness to learn
What you will get in return
For a 37.5 working week, you will receive a generous entry level base salary of £38,000 to £44,000, dependant on experience, alongside 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, pension contribution scheme, overtime and expenses, sick pay scheme, 3 x life assurance plus other benefits.

What You Will Do:
Develop, test, and maintain Mitsubishi PLC programs for both new and existing equipment.
Design, install, and commission electrical control systems for advanced machinery and automation equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in PLC systems and associated control panels to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure all systems comply with electrical standards and safety regulations, maintaining the highest levels of safety.
Provide technical training and support to colleagues and operators, sharing your expertise in control systems.

What You Will Bring:
Proven experience in PLC programming, particularly with Mitsubishi systems, and electrical control system design.
