The Role:This role involves delivering expert level services for GE PowerOn Reliance (PoR) SCADA, with a strong focus on validating and testing the system implementation against the defined functional, non functional, and integration requirements. It requires close collaboration with customers, implementation partners, system integrators, and internal delivery teams to ensure that the solution meets operational expectations and industry standards.It also requires coordinating with multiple stakeholders to validate system functionality across SCADA, EMS, and related PoR. components, ensuring successful end to end deployment.
Your responsibilities:Specific responsibilities include (but not limited to):Collaborated with system users and project teams to understand project scope, requirements, and operational workflows.Provided expert services for the GE Power-On Reliance SCADA EMS System, covering functional, non-functional, interface, and integration testing.Designed comprehensive test scenarios and executed detailed test cases to ensure complete coverage across all system functionalities.Reviewed and analyzed functional design documentation to validate that all test cases fully addressed system requirements.Worked within Agile Scrum teams, collaborating closely with Product Owners (POs), SCADA SMEs, and business testers to create well-defined user stories and corresponding acceptance tests.Monitored and reported progress of test preparation and execution using JIRA/XRAY, ensuring adherence to defined testing processes.Identified, documented, and managed risks and issues related to testing, providing mitigation recommendations where needed.Ensured consistency in testing approaches by following centrally defined Test Strategy, Test Approach, and Phase Test Plans.Developed, executed, and maintained manual and automated test scripts.Performed testing across multiple environments, including web, desktop, and mobile platforms.Documented defects through detailed and accurate bug reports, ensuring clear traceability and reproducibility.Provided guidance and support to team members to ensure correct implementation and verification of requirements during testing.
